“We've been going to Mary's semi-regularly for breakfast, for about 6 months now. It can't be topped. We finally went in the other day for a lunch..and got the burgers. Not gonna lie, that was the best burger I've had in 8 years of living in Florida! Mine, my wife's, and my son's were all perfection. My other son got the chicken tenders...he said they were fantastic. MUST TRY!!!”

“I reached out to the folks at Minneola Inn to ask about their boat rentals. They had us out on the boat next day for an amazing day on the water! The boat had everything we needed and Todd gave us amazing directions to navigate the lakes and also some good fishing and swimming! We went out for the morning, came back for some amazing lunch and yummy drinks, and then went out for the rest of the day before returning around 5! We can’t wait to come back next year! “Food was a 10/10, ordered mango habanero wings with garlic fries and onion rings! Food was hot and perfectly crispy even through DoorDash. Staff was extremely professional and proud in their work, service was a 10/10, and I gotta say it wasn’t like a “fake” happy you see often in the service industry, they genuinely care about their customers and always make sure they are taken care of in every way possible. I would love to see fries on the menu and maybe a slight increase to the portion size of the sides. They seemed a little small, even though the price was good for the amount of meat.

Overall it was tasty:) Mac and cheese has a slight onion flavor, but not in a bad way! It went well togther. Just a good thing to know Incase you don't like onions. And the Carolina BBQ sauce was very pleasant. It was tangy and sweet! And the meat was lightly smoked. Which is nice if you can't take too make smokey flavor.

I would suggest getting the food to go due to lack of seating, but the antiques were really cute.

“I have been wanting to try this place since I heard about it and they did not disappoint!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked for a recommendation and it was AMAZING! I believe it was the southwest chicken panini. I enjoyed not having to ask what’s in everything. My boyfriend is not gluten free and he has been raving about the food since we left a few hours ago. We will definitely be returning next time we’re in the area!”

“I have been coming here since they've opened and love their food. However, I am very disheartened lately how their cook Olden (I believe is his name) treats the other staff. He tends to get overwhelmed by tickets or special requests. When I've experienced this happening he seems as though he gets stressed out. Then he lashes out on the other staff around him, especially the owner's mother who works the register. I've experienced this on multiple occasions and it's frustrating to see. I love this place but it's beginning to make me not want to come here due to how he treats others. I have kept my mouth closed for the experience of other customers in the building. However, your staff don't deserve this type of treatment and I will be standing up for them the next time this happens in front of me. I've kept my mouth shut long enough.”

“We had a Cob Salad with chicken, served in a large bowl, all of the fixings that go with a cob salad where on the bottom of the lettuce. My husband who ordered the same salad didn't get any bacon. , both salads had very tuff chicken. Very dissapointed for a meal that cost us $72.00 for salads. We did have chicken wings too, they where over cooked. We where with another couple and they said their meals where okay. All os us have been there before and the meals are always okay, but not great. We'll keep trying...”

“We met friends here. It was our first time. We were very impressed with the attentiveness of all staff working together as a team. It was amazing. The beer was great. “Love everything about this place. If I had a dream of a Chowder House this is what it would be. During a recent trip to Boston, for one meal each day I had Chowder...and Tony's is still my favorite Chowder. Some in Boston may disagree but I recommend they take a trip to Tony's and see for themselves. My wife loves the Salmon. Good Hushpuppies are a bonus. Highly recommended when in Mt. Dora.”

“We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.”

The buffalo hot sauce was good and stuck to the wings well, and was a bit spicy which I loved. The fries were hot and seasoned well. I was very happy and will order again.”
