This was the 5th or 6th time eating at Wakame. The sushi and hibachi has always been 5+. But the last time we were there, I service was just ok and we waited a long time for food and it wasn’t even busy. I will continue to go there as it is practically around the corner from us, unless service gets worse.
Great fresh food and wonderful staff, highly recommend this place.
My wife and I decided to try Wakame since it's really close from our house. We were extremely delighted of having such fresh sushi rolls prepared in front of us. Our server Sofia made really good recommendations (Moon roll) and gave us a lot of information of how all the lunch specials and appetizers. The sushi chefs were so nice to talk to and they also made some great recommendations.

Wakame Japanese is a fantastic place. The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sushi rolls are fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor. The Wakame roll and Yellowtail sashimi are top notch. The seaweed salad is a standout. The meal, presentation, and quality are all top notch. The service is spectacular. Staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere is calm, inviting, clean, and comfortable. The food comes very quickly, especially at lunchtime. This is the best sushi, always a 10/10. A must for any sushi enthusiast. The restaurant is right off the highway and well worth the stop. Between the awesome sushi, delicious food, relaxing atmosphere, and outstanding service, this place is a total win. Highly recommend.
