The restaurant boasts an awesome atmosphere, with a lovely ambience featuring blues and loft ceilings, and impeccable service that adds to the overall warmth of the venue. The menu features a variety of delicious and beautifully presented dishes, including codfish croquettes, bacalhau, and polvo a lagareiro. Chef João cooks excellent food, and the staff provides outstanding service. The house white wine was well priced and unusually good. Seafood dishes are well prepared, including the seafood stew served in a pot enough for two, and the Portuguese paelha was full of fresh seafood. Be sure to try the pasteis de nata for dessert, or the pudim Portugues for a dense flan reminiscent of a light bread pudding, more appropriately shared. The restaurant also offers a curated selection of Portuguese wines, perfectly complementing the meal. With friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff, reservations are recommended for this cozy, intimate spot.
