“We love Salty Dogs in downtown Inverness. It’s our favorite eatery in which to dine, knowing we will get excellent food and service every time. Everything is made in house and nothing is fried. From their salads to entrees, it all comes out in a timely manner with a smile. Jessica has waited on us a number of times, and she is always friendly and accommodating. All of the waitstaff are completely capable. The beer selection is diverse with plenty of time to enjoy the barley pop before our meal arrives. My only critique is that it is generally very loud inside. We’ve asked that the music be turned down a skosh but have been told that the management will not allow it. Easily solved by sitting outside in the cooler months. All in all, highly recommend.“

“Great food at very fair prices. You would expect to pay more at this kind of location, so I was very happy about pricing. I got the fried chicken sandwich and my wife got the grilled chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken was good, the fried chicken would beat most restaurants easily. Everything was hot and fresh. You should definitely grab a meal while you're there and I would strongly recommend you go with the fried chicken sandwich (I had the tater tots for a side and they were well done also)“

“What a cute place. Headed back home and the fam was hungry. We almost turned around because it was packed at 9am, so glad we did not. Food was fresh cooked and delicious. The staff checked on every table constantly while we were dining. They were so sweet. Drinks never got to half full before another came. Restaurant was very clean and patriotic. Thanks!“

“Food quality change? Not 100% sure but I can tell you the kids burgers are different than I used to be. They used to be hand patty and now they are premade. Brussels sprouts are good however they used to come with the sauce on them and now they do not.
$14 for kids burger with two dollar tip.“

Beautiful setup that looks small but feels spacious when you walk in. Very comfortable environment that’s decorated nicely. My table all enjoyed different plates. I got the Trooper. Delicious, home made biscuits and gravy, hash browns that were cooked crispy the way they should, scrambled eggs and bacon. It was cooked to perfection. The other meals had the same round of applause from my friends. Looking forward to trying their Chef’s Table dinner on Friday nights and to catch lunch one of these days. If you’re an east sider, we have great options, but this place is worth the drive! Thank you Sally for the wonderful customer service and ever full cup of coffee and thank you Mike for the wonderful food. Great team, great restaurant!“

“First and foremost I have to say, Tyler (one of the staff members) always makes our stop a better experience. He is courteous and always thanking us for coming in. He is super respectful, responsive and ALWAYS makes things right if anything goes wrong. What a great asset to the company. My 26 yr old daughter absolutely loves the crawfish (absolutely the best around). My wife tears up the crab and shrimp in the Cajun Special (seafood boil). “We usually dont complain about our meals but Kim's has to be the worst breakfast place in citrus county. We order our drinks which was a small oj and a diet coke and the oj was no bigger than a salt Shaker and a LARGE milk . Our food was nothing crazy cornedbeef hash well done potatoes well done with a biscut and a side of gravy along with a southern omelette i asked to replace the peppers with mushrooms and the waitress said there would be a up charge (whatever no biggie but dumb) potatoes well done and pancakes. Nothing was well done, my pancakes were so rubbery they seem like they came out of a microwave and my diet coke sat empty until my husband had to ask. The waitress who took our order never came back to check on us and like the prior person's comment our check was at our table immediately.We did say something while we were there and the best they could do is take 2 bucks off our meal. The money isnt the issue, its the fact they take no pride in their resturant. I dont understand how the place was full. We are locals and love our breakfast spots but unfortunately there is nothing they could do to make us return.“

She was organized while remaining personable, professional and attentive to our needs. I’d return just because of her but need to share that the food was excellent. Our food was awesome as well. The fish and chips were great and the crispy chicken bowl was also very good. And, without knowing it Dad got $14 off his meal, basically free, winner winner chicken dinner!
