I got the fried chicken sandwich and my wife got the grilled chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken was good, the fried chicken would beat most restaurants easily. Everything was hot and fresh. “This place has been around forever, and they pretty much are known throughout the county for their corn dogs. It's a little food stand at the flea market, similar to what you would find at a carnival, and looks a little shady if you never gotten the food from here. While they do have other offerings on the menu, your best bet is too stick to the corn dogs and lemon shake ups. The lemon shake ups have just the right amount of tart and sweetness to them, and after you're finished drinking it, just add more water, and you get a second lemonade, though not as strong. From what I can tell, they fry the corn dogs twice. Once to cook, and again to either reheat them and/or add a little more crispiness to the dogs. You can get the with mustard and/or ketchup, but just be aware they brush the condiments on the dogs. The hot dogs they use are not the more expensive all beef variety, but somehow, it all manages to come out tasting delicious. Definitely an obligatory stop if you hit the flea market, just know they tend to have a long line. Great prices, nice people, tasty corn dogs.“

“Food quality change? Not 100% sure but I can tell you the kids burgers are different than I used to be. They used to be hand patty and now they are premade. Brussels sprouts are good however they used to come with the sauce on them and now they do not.
$14 for kids burger with two dollar tip.“

Beautiful setup that looks small but feels spacious when you walk in. Very comfortable environment that’s decorated nicely. My table all enjoyed different plates. I got the Trooper. Delicious, home made biscuits and gravy, hash browns that were cooked crispy the way they should, scrambled eggs and bacon. It was cooked to perfection. The other meals had the same round of applause from my friends. Looking forward to trying their Chef’s Table dinner on Friday nights and to catch lunch one of these days. If you’re an east sider, we have great options, but this place is worth the drive! Thank you Sally for the wonderful customer service and ever full cup of coffee and thank you Mike for the wonderful food. Great team, great restaurant!“

“First and foremost I have to say, Tyler (one of the staff members) always makes our stop a better experience. He is courteous and always thanking us for coming in. He is super respectful, responsive and ALWAYS makes things right if anything goes wrong. What a great asset to the company. My 26 yr old daughter absolutely loves the crawfish (absolutely the best around). My wife tears up the crab and shrimp in the Cajun Special (seafood boil). It's her favorite breakfast restaurant and they treat her like royalty. The chef Mark, always finds time to come out and give her a hug. Karen and the staff are absolutely amazing. Our food was nothing crazy cornedbeef hash well done potatoes well done with a biscut and a side of gravy along with a southern omelette i asked to replace the peppers with mushrooms and the waitress said there would be a up charge (whatever no biggie but dumb) potatoes well done and pancakes. Nothing was well done, my pancakes were so rubbery they seem like they came out of a microwave and my diet coke sat empty until my husband had to ask. The waitress who took our order never came back to check on us and like the prior person's comment our check was at our table immediately.We did say something while we were there and the best they could do is take 2 bucks off our meal. The money isnt the issue, its the fact they take no pride in their resturant. I dont understand how the place was full. We are locals and love our breakfast spots but unfortunately there is nothing they could do to make us return.“

“I really love this place. I stop by all the time for lunch and dinner. The food is always hot and fresh and Amy always greets me with a smile and provides great service. This is my go-to chinese takeout place whenever I'm on this side of the county but have been finding myself driving the distance to get great food.“

“Tonight, Sunday, May 24th just after 7pm, I took my special needs nephew out to dinner before he heads back home, and we stopped by Applebee's like we often do because it’s one of our favorite affordable places to eat together. We were seated at the High-top table #33, and had the absolute pleasure of being served by Autumn C.

We decided to do the all-you-can-eat deal, my nephew ordered a “Blue Mountain Dew” because apparently the color matters more than the flavor, and I ordered a strawberry piña colada. From the moment we sat down, Autumn was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. My nephew is on the spectrum and can sometimes become nonverbal around people he doesn’t know well, but she treated him with such genuine warmth and respect.

One moment that absolutely made his night was when he quietly asked me if the staff would “let him have another,” and almost immediately Autumn appeared with a refill before I could even answer him. It completely blew his mind and made him feel so seen and included.

My friends and I come to Applebee’s 2–3 times a month, and I can honestly say Autumn is one of the friendliest, fastest, and most thoughtful waitresses I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. She made what could have been a stressful outing feel easy and enjoyable, and that means more than I can explain.
