“My best friend & I went here for lunch today. Jorge , the GM, stopped at our table to make sure all was ok. It was great so far. Then we got an awesome waitress, Kristina. She could not have been any better. Had everything we needed and the food was outstanding. I called and spoke to Jorge and told him how pleased we were. People are so quick to complain so Kim & I decided to tell them how happy we were with start to finish. Gators Dockside has always been my favorite restaurant, and it’s still my favorite restaurant. “I recently stopped by Jams for breakfast and ended up ordering the ham and cheese omelette. I have to say, it absolutely hit the spot and exceeded my expectations for a classic morning staple. The omelette was cooked to perfection—fluffy, light, and not greasy at all. They definitely didn't skimp on the fillings either; it was absolutely loaded with savory, high-quality ham and a generous amount of melted, gooey cheese that perfectly tied the whole dish together. Every single bite was flavorful and satisfying.
Beyond the fantastic food, the entire dining experience at Jams was excellent. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was warm, clean, and incredibly welcoming, making it the perfect spot to sit down, relax, and enjoy a great meal. “I’m so happy the new owner wrote me it Was a pleasure meeting him he was very nice greeted us when we first walked in the door. He helped serve the meals. He came over and talked to us. They still have the same Cook’s so the food was still delicious. I’m so happy. So please continue to spread the word that this is a new owner And I know it’s still time that it’s gonna get the place back to top notch but so far just him talking to us and explaining that things are going to change and be a lot better. I would give this a 10 I think I’m gonna try to steak and cheese next time someone order it look's so delicious. I was happy about the New cups. “I am visiting my sister and brother-in-law in Brooksville, FL and on 1-5-2026 they took me to Cody's Original Roadhouse in Spring Hill, FL. The food was absolutely delicious and was hot upon arrival. I had the chicken, with cheese and sweet potato fries and a salad - it was absolutely divine. We had the fried cheese sticks as well as an appetizer and they were well portioned and delicious. My sister had the french onion soup and the half rack with shrimp and fries which was also yummy. My brother-in-law had the haddock with a baked sweet potato and he loved it. On top of the fact that the food was wonderful, the price was reasonable our server Brian F. was engaging, prompt, new the menu items well. I really want to call out Brian F. as his service was exceptional and service such as this needs to be recognized. Always smiling, communicated well, checked on us often and overall was OVER THE TOP!. I also appreciated the fact that the Manager Amanda checked on us to ensure all was well. A huge thank you to Brian F. salute to the chef and kitchen staff, for the delicious, well presented hot meals, and to Amanda for a very well run dining experience. Happy 2026, we will be back!!!!“

“We had a Birthday Party there...... Party of 18. Half of the Table was served Food.... About 5-10 minutes later the other half of the table's Food came out...... 2 people's Food didn't come out for at least another 10 minutes after that.“

The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is always consistent and impeccably executed.. We generally get the rack of lamb, filet, or specialty selections like elk or veal. Chef Kinds, Isabelle, and staff always make sure our experience is nothing short of amazing!! The escargot and European cheese board are always a must. The wine selection is spectacular and Isabelle’s wine knowledge is always spot on. The desserts are truly chefs kiss. The white chocolate marscapone cheesecake with raspberry coulis is our absolute favorite!❤️ I promise, you’ll not be disappointed..“

We got two build your own cheesesteaks, loaded French fries, and a grilled cheese meal. Of course the ice cream after was absolutely amazing too can’t beat the one stop shop dinner and dessert all in one and it’s kid friendly. Where are the owners on busy times of day to run the business. Plus ..and even worse...the two men that seldom run the check out are rude. “Skimpy portion of steak tips and some were chewy. Others in the party got fish and chicken tenders and said there was too much breading. It felt like we were stuck in a corner despite plenty of space, was told because it was quiet then sat the loudest guy behind us who had no idea what an inside voice is. Maybe the waitress was busy but we had to ask for drink refills.“

“I love skinnys wings...but today was a failure. I ordered a 10 piece of breaded garlic parm wings (my fav). When they came out fresh and hot, I ate one and I could taste a fishyness to them. I had my buddy try one and she said the same thing. The waitress (who was great) took them back to get me new ones. Here's the kicker! I know they werent new wings. I know they were sat under a heat lamp for a bit and just left for re-serving. Not cool!! How do I know this. I left one piece of celery in the basket. when it came back out the same one piece of celery was in the same place. But thats not even it. When the wings were dumped into the basket the first time, they were dumped over the little container of ranch, and it left a perfect ring of nothingness under it..just the basked liner clean as a whistle. When the supposed new wings came out... the ring was still there, still void of any seasoning remnants. same wings... same fishy flavor. sorry but that was horribly disappointing! I still tipped the waitress a 10 spot on a 24 dollar bill! Not her fault. I still will recommend Skinny's and thier wings... just not today! I took 8 of the wings home... had my roomie try one and she said the very same thing.... Fishy. tossed them in the trash!“

“We, my husband, my husband's cousins, and I, used to eat here all the time....at least once a week. That was, until this "Covid"- thing cut into their hours and business. Now that Covid is over, their hours are still very limited. They close at 2. We, seniors, like to go out for dinner, in the evening. That's when we went. Now, closing at 2, haven't been back in months, if not more. Today is Sunday. Think they would be open all day, but, no. Still closing at 2. Very sad. Love the food, though, but can't eat there if they aren't open.“

“We've had many hams from this store and they're always amazing. We had never tried their food menu until recently when we randomly decided to stop in for lunch. This place is cafe style where you order at the counter and they bring it out to you. My ham and swiss sliders were fantastic and my husband enjoyed is bbq ham sandwich. We will definitely be back for lunch to try other options!“
