“Hidden gem on the water. Outdoor seating is a must to enjoy the private dining areas with tropical plants and views of the water filled with an abundance of fish and turtles. Food was amazing and our waitress Marissa was entertaining and attentive. Will be back.“

“I am visiting my sister and brother-in-law in Brooksville, FL and on 1-5-2026 they took me to Cody's Original Roadhouse in Spring Hill, FL. The food was absolutely delicious and was hot upon arrival. I had the chicken, with cheese and sweet potato fries and a salad - it was absolutely divine. We had the fried cheese sticks as well as an appetizer and they were well portioned and delicious. My sister had the french onion soup and the half rack with shrimp and fries which was also yummy. My brother-in-law had the haddock with a baked sweet potato and he loved it. On top of the fact that the food was wonderful, the price was reasonable our server Brian F. was engaging, prompt, new the menu items well. I really want to call out Brian F. as his service was exceptional and service such as this needs to be recognized. Always smiling, communicated well, checked on us often and overall was OVER THE TOP!. I also appreciated the fact that the Manager Amanda checked on us to ensure all was well. A huge thank you to Brian F. salute to the chef and kitchen staff, for the delicious, well presented hot meals, and to Amanda for a very well run dining experience. Happy 2026, we will be back!!!!“

“I never order Alfredo dishes … I decided to make an exception and ordered the chicken Alfredo. Well let me tell you …. It was the best! I see reviews of different restaurants like Sam’s, skinnys and whatever else is in this area where people rave about how good it is. I dont know where their taste buds are! I’m from the north and have never been able to find half way decent food. THIS IS THE PLACE! It’s fresh and made to order. WELL WORTH THE WAIT! Our server Ari was wonderful!“

“Service was slow because they seemed understaffed. The food was very good, came out hot and couldn't beat the price for the meal. I had the prime rib Thursday special with baked potato and green bean casserole. The soup was also excellent, something I've never had before, roast beef lentil. All for under 20 bucks, you can't beat that just about anywhere. The desserts looked homemade but I was too full to try. The majority of the people carried out a box with them so the portions are large. I wish it was closer to where I live, but I'll drive the 35 minutes to go back .“

They still have the same Cook’s so the food was still delicious. I’m so happy. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is always consistent and impeccably executed.. We generally get the rack of lamb, filet, or specialty selections like elk or veal. Chef Kinds, Isabelle, and staff always make sure our experience is nothing short of amazing!! The escargot and European cheese board are always a must. The wine selection is spectacular and Isabelle’s wine knowledge is always spot on. The desserts are truly chefs kiss. The white chocolate marscapone cheesecake with raspberry coulis is our absolute favorite!❤️ I promise, you’ll not be disappointed..“

“I have seen this place all over my Facebook for the past few weeks and we finally had time today to make it in. The food was absolutely amazing and out of this world. We got two build your own cheesesteaks, loaded French fries, and a grilled cheese meal. The food was quick and delicious we wondered why we had never been before but after today we will definitely be back. Of course the ice cream after was absolutely amazing too can’t beat the one stop shop dinner and dessert all in one and it’s kid friendly. “I arrived just around 4pm on a Saturday and there was already a wait starting to build at the hostess stand. Since I was willing to take a high-top, however, I was seated immediately.

After getting settled, Shannon came over and introduced herself as my server, took my drink order, and asked if I wanted their (legendary) complementary croissants, which I declined. Shannon returned quickly with my drink, and since I already knew what I wanted, I placed my order for a chicken tenders platter (with fries and broccoli as my two sides) and a side salad to start.

Within just a few minutes, my salad was brought to the table. The salad was basic, with the usual ingredients - greens, carrot strings, cherry tomatoes, croutons, cheese. Everything tasted fresh and crispy and I really don't have much more to say about the salad.

Shortly after finishing my salad, my entree was delivered. Everything was as expected and did not disappoint. The broccoli was nicely seasoned and steamed to perfection. The fries crispy but may have been a tad too salty for my taste. The chicken tenders (five in total) were perfect - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Owing to Cheddar's usual generous portions I was able to bring half the meal home as leftovers.

Shannon was a great server - friendly, attentive, and (important for me) quick on the soda refills.

If you are in the mood for good sized portions of quality comfort food at a reasonable price, don't sleep on Cheddar's. They are worth a visit.“

“I love skinnys wings...but today was a failure. I ordered a 10 piece of breaded garlic parm wings (my fav). When they came out fresh and hot, I ate one and I could taste a fishyness to them. I had my buddy try one and she said the same thing. The waitress (who was great) took them back to get me new ones. Here's the kicker! I know they werent new wings. I know they were sat under a heat lamp for a bit and just left for re-serving. Not cool!! How do I know this. I left one piece of celery in the basket. when it came back out the same one piece of celery was in the same place. But thats not even it. When the wings were dumped into the basket the first time, they were dumped over the little container of ranch, and it left a perfect ring of nothingness under it..just the basked liner clean as a whistle. When the supposed new wings came out... the ring was still there, still void of any seasoning remnants. same wings... same fishy flavor. sorry but that was horribly disappointing! I still tipped the waitress a 10 spot on a 24 dollar bill! Not her fault. I still will recommend Skinny's and thier wings... just not today! I took 8 of the wings home... had my roomie try one and she said the very same thing.... Fishy. tossed them in the trash!“

Where are the owners on busy times of day to run the business. Plus ..and even worse...the two men that seldom run the check out are rude. They don't say one single word to you, but take ur card or money. Don't say thank u or anything. Great food...great service.... Lousy management“

Now that Covid is over, their hours are still very limited. They close at 2. We, seniors, like to go out for dinner, in the evening. That's when we went. Now, closing at 2, haven't been back in months, if not more. Today is Sunday. Think they would be open all day, but, no. Still closing at 2. Very sad.
