“It ain’t fancy, and as a large mammal, a few of the chairs didn’t inspire confidence in their structural integrity. But they quickly provided a solid chair, and the mild embarrassment over the chair was well worth the excellent service and incredible food. The flaky whitefish fillets are massive and perfectly battered and fried. The cheese curds are delicious and the basket was well-filled. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the coleslaw and grilled shrimp she ordered, and the food came to our table faster than I dared to hope. I’m not a marinara person but my wife is and she says theirs is, in her words, “awesome!” We will DEFINITELY be back!“

“Never a disappointing meal here. Food, seafood this is one of the best places in the South. We have eaten seafood from Beaumont, Texas, to Tallahassee, Florida. This little restaurant is tucked away and hidden from the mainstream. Highly recommend this restaurant please don't expect a fancy dining area. The food speaks for itself.“

“Such a nice old fashioned place to eat chicken tenders! I also loved the huspuppies and above all the nice young lady. She was not only cheerfull and kind but it appeared she was a queen in making cookies. I tried them at home, so I was not able to tell her how delicious they were. If I was living in this area, I definitly would go back. “Met up with high school friends and there were five for lunch. We had fish, pork steak special with vegetables, and a club sandwich. Food was delicious and more than we could eat. Leftovers went home with us. Great day having lunch and catching up with friends.“
