“Our FAVORITE hidden gem here in PCB! We discovered this place by accident a few years ago and we are so glad we did! We make it a priority to come here anytime we visit. The food here is absolutely amazing! Brisket tacos and tuna dip are FIRE! Everything is so delicious we often find ourselves reminiscing about it lol. “Arrived at 10:05 for lunch because breakfast ended at 10:00. One server took our drink order and said our server would be taking our order shortly. 10 minutes later she took our order. Meanwhile over the next 30 minutes several customers arrived and were served drinks and meals. Our server returned a couple of times with excuses why our food wasn't ready. After waiting patiently for 1 hour we got up and left. No one approached us to ask why we were leaving. This was our first visit to Big Mamas and will not be returning.“

“If you’re anywhere near this Thai spot, it is 100% worth the drive. We live in PCB (about 30 minutes away) and I will gladly make that trip again and again for this food. We’ve tried a lot of Thai restaurants in the area, and honestly none of them even come close to this place. The curry was absolutely to die for and the flavor and richness were next level. I ordered the Mamasun curry (no peas, level 1 spice) and it was perfection. So creamy, balanced, and packed with flavor without being overwhelming. He got the Panang curry (no veggies, level 2 spice) and it had just the right kick with that classic deep, savory sweetness. Every single bite was amazing. The plating was beautiful, and the restaurant itself had such a pleasing, welcoming vibe. The decor was tasteful and cozy, and the outdoor area looked like it would be such a great place to sit during the summertime. The staff was a 10/10. We had multiple people check on us throughout dinner to make sure everything was perfect. They were genuinely kind and attentive without being overbearing. We went around 6:30 on a Monday night and it wasn’t very busy, mostly some to-go orders, but this place seriously deserves more recognition. It’s a hidden gem. We will absolutely be back . Can’t wait to try the noodles !“

“Alice’s was highly recommend by a local. I had grilled grouper and it was excellent! Best fish dinner I’ve had in a long time. Father-in-law had fried shrimp, also excellent! For desert I had bread pudding with a bourbon sauce, also excellent! I’ll definitely be back again!“

“We food breakfast while staying at the hotel. Food was good not great but good, but expected more from service. Coffee arrived way before food and one was cold. The answer was we just press a button and the machine makes it so what do you want to do? You want in re made or something else to drink? I know I don't want cold coffee unless I order a cold brew. Next we had our coffees. There was sugar yet nothing to stir. When someone finally noticed us, asked for something to stir our coffees. They brought 1 spoon. Guess sharing is in style. We do have to come back since we payed already for breakfast for our stay. Not sure if id do it again next time.
Edit. The rest of the days we sat closer to the bar and we got Felix as waiter. He's just wonderful, no issues at all no cold coffee or anything. Still won't give 5 cos of our server on the first day. Big huge shout out to Felix.“

“Dinner at Shuckums was a real pleasure. From being welcomed by all the "regulars" there who I invited to share my high-top to my server Jersey (Jessica M) who gave me excellent recommendations and took wonderful care of me. I went with a dozen raw oysters to start, and they were awesome...plump, perfect size, tender, and a very nice brine flavor. Almost ordered a second dozen and skipped dinner. Decided to try the fried shrimp and grilled scallops with onion rings. The shrimp were superb with great breading and perfectly fried while the scallops were tender with mild flavor. Overall, a great meal and I'm going to dine here at least one more time before I depart. Very welcoming atmosphere, cool vibe, great food, and the service was great!“
