“Sumo opened in Boca Raton, FL during Covid in 2019. The letters on the strip mall in Mission Bay read 'Sumo Sushi'. Not being a fan of sushi, I avoided going in...until today, when I was looking for an alternative to my usual hangouts. Erica greeted us at the door and welcomed us in. I ordered the Temura Chicken and Vegetables and my friend ordered the Teriyaki Cicken. The salad that we selected as our starter was fresh, crisp, and flavorful with a sweet ginger dressing, and our meals were perfect. Erica was personable, attentive, and witty, providing exceptional service. The dining room was clean and so was the sushi bar and the restroom. There are only 7 tables in this establishment and the sushi bar has seating. If you haven't noticed this place because it's set back in a corner of the mall, and you like quality Japanese food, you should give them a try. I'm happy I did and I can assure you that we will be returning. The tempura was some of the best I'd ever tasted. It's my new favorite dish!“

“We call this place home. It’s one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. Our whole family loved it. The food is so fresh and tasty. The service is fast and they are so kind. Especially Mina. “Had my first experience last night for dinner, with my father (89 years young who is now eating with me in many sushi restaurants). Dad thoroughly enjoyed the egg drop soup and chicken teriyaki with vegetable fried rice! I had a fab roll (name: Rene Roll) with tuna tartare! The restaurant is conveniently located at Powerline and Palmetto near LA fitness. Such a beautiful and very clean environment with music and the Manager, Albert, was very welcoming and accommodating to our dietary needs. We will definitely be going back, and I am happily sharing this review to encourage others to check it out. (I.e. the Rene Roll 😇). Thank You Albert!!“

“I was so excited to try the Japanese Bocce Club during our stay at the Boca Raton! We made a reservation for 9:00 P.M. and it was PACKED. There was a wait time, but nothing too extreme. The design is beautiful, and the couches were extremely comfortable, but it was pretty loud which made it difficult to hear. Nothing came out notably fast, but I was never wondering what happened to our order. The food itself was EXCEPTIONAL and greatly exceeded my expectations. We tried a variety of things and they were all scrumptious! I highly recommend the Glazed Sticky BBQ Ribs (or something like that). They were packed with flavour, and the BBQ sauce was amazing! All of the appetizers, sushi, and desserts were great, but the miso soup was a little salty for my taste. Overall, this restaurant was delicious and I highly recommend! We will definitely be back in the future!“

“This was my first time at the restaurant. And I have to say I'm sorry I haven't been there sooner. The sushi was some of the best I've had if not the best. And our chef Nathan was excellent. Very knowledgeable and discussed everything he served as far as how it was prepared where it was from etc. I definitely would recommend the restaurant. I'm definitely looking forward to going back for dinner next time. I started with the lunch first.“

“First time I got the sesame chicken and tonight I got pork chow mein. Service was good and quick both times. Sesame chicken was pretty good. Pork chow mein was great and the spicy yellow sauce is phenomenal. Solid choice for takeout and will be back soon I’m sure.“
