“Traffic to the beach was bad and we were hungry. Turned off and stopped here on a whim. What a find! Service was a tad slow but worth the wait. The food was excellent. Hot, fresh and very authentic with an abundance of menu choices. I had grouper tacos and my spouse enjoyed the Cuban burger. We will be back to try something else.“

“The hubby loves a good Cuban sandwich and Fernandez the Bull never disappoints. The Sangria was not up to their usual robust red Sangria. The interior of this restaurant feels roomy compared to the Immokalee Road restaurant. We will return soon.“

“Just found this place tonight, me and my husband came here to try it out because it had a 4.9 rating and the photos of the food looked amazing. We started with the tostones rellenos con ropa vieja which was so delicious, shredded beef with cheese in a tostones cup, such a good starter. Then for our meal, I got filet mignon with sweet plantains and yellow rice and my husband got churrasco de res with black beans and white rice and both plates were so delicious!! My steak came a little too rare but they took care of it right away and were very accommodating and professional. They were very sweet, all the servers are very professional and very polite. I highly recommend trying this restaurant if you haven't already. It also has a full bar, and we were able to watch the Spain vs. Uruguay game while we were dining in. If we weren't so full I Def would have tried some dessert and coffee. As a server myself, I felt very comfortable, well taken care of, and happy with my meal and the whole experience. “I work next door so I’m here often & I love this place so much. Never had anything wrong with my food, always perfect temperature too and well cooked. Love the vibes and music there, wish i could sit and eat one day but usually cant. even taking the food to go is a good experience and usually that is not the case. The platains are one of the best from cuban places.“

“I placed an online order for pickup and noticed the app never updated with any status. I decided to drive over to check on it and found out they had actually closed early for the day. A little confusing at first, not going to lie.

I called the support number, and after a few minutes a gentleman came out personally to apologize. He explained they had been slow and closed early, but he offered to stay and make my order anyway. That kind of customer service really says something.

I decided to let him make it — and I am so glad I did.

I ordered the All Meat pizza and the Pepperoni Sticks. I didn’t even try it until I got home. My girlfriend and I took our first bite, looked at each other, and almost in sync said, “How have we never known this place existed?”

The pizza was that good.

Loaded, fresh, perfectly cooked — just flat-out delicious. We understand everyone has different tastes… but wow. This one hit.

Yes, the app situation could use improvement, but the effort, the apology, and most importantly the quality of the food completely made up for it. It’s rare these days to see someone take responsibility and then back it up with product that speaks for itself.
