Johnny Malloy's Sports Pub is a lively spot known for its friendly service and numerous TVs. The atmosphere is homey and relaxing, making it a great place for sports fans. While the wings are recommended and the wing special has impressed guests with large, perfectly cooked wings and the right amount of sauce, some customers have noted issues such as dirty glasses being served. The pub's bucket of beer and Mahi Mahi tacos remain popular choices, although some have found the tacos overcooked. Sweet potato fries are described as addicting, and the cheeseburger pizza has been highlighted as a favorite item.
The decor features sports-themed elements with flags that represent various teams, creating an engaging environment. Customers appreciate the servers, who are friendly, patient, and helpful. The fish and chips and French dip have also received high praise. While some reviews suggested improvements for the TV selection and pizza dough, many agree that the overall experience is positive. Johnny Malloy's also offers ribs on Sundays during football games, which are noted as fall-off-the-bone juicy and loaded with flavor.
The pub is wheelchair accessible, and while parking may be slightly limited, it is considered a great destination to eat and unwind, making it worth a visit. The reasonable prices and decent point reward program add to its appeal, and it has become a default spot for many local visitors.
