“We had a really nice time. I was a little unsure of what to expect because there are a lot of negative reviews but we've enjoyed the breakfast buffet here twice and didn't feel like looking for a place off-property. The restaurant was slow and the weather was perfect so we requested to change our seating to outside (after requesting indoor seating in the reservation) and the host didn't hesitate to comply. A staff member filled our water glasses and brought an assortment of delicious breads and flavored butters while we waited for our server. Neither my husband nor I were particularly hungry so we took our time deciding on what to eat and ended up sharing the Cajun crab dip and the chicken and waffles. Both were fantastic and we were impressed with not only the quality and flavors but the portions as well. We don't normally split meals but there was plenty for both of us. I will say the server was not super attentive once our orders were in and if we'd been really hungry or thirsty it would've bothered me. However I did see that he was constantly bringing out dishes and clearly doing his job, not simply MIA. At one point I was about to run out of water and said something to my husband about it but when our server came out with a tray of food for another table, I saw him clock our low water glasses and he filled them the moment he was finished serving the other group. Ultimately it was such a pleasant and peaceful meal and I'm so glad we chose to dine there last night.“
