Visited for the first time today, and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. The hostess at the front ignored us at first and then was outright rude—no smile, no greeting, no “welcome to Sugar Shack,” just attitude. Honestly, that should have been our sign to leave. The food was mediocre at best. I would not recommend this place.
If you’re looking for service with a smile, this is NOT the place. Couldn’t get any place to sit, was told can’t block areas, just overall experience was bad. This place cannot handle large crowds for a popular band.
What a cool place! Great sound, small and cozy. Very fast friendly service. My food was very good. Will be going back for sure.

The staff is upbeat and friendly, and the service is attentive. Sugarshack Downtown has a lively and welcoming atmosphere, making it perfect for meeting friends or catching a live show. It's a popular spot, especially on band nights, so arriving early is recommended.
