About The Butcher and The Bar

The Butcher and The Bar is a charming boutique-style restaurant known for its fresh, locally sourced ingredients, great beer selection, and relaxed atmosphere. Many customers enjoy the porchetta, ziti, mushroom tips appetizer, and burgers. Homemade hot dogs and bratwurst from the butcher shop are also offered. The service is highly praised, especially from staff like Jordan and Anthony, who provide top-tier, impeccable care. Guests have shared that the dishes and drinks are very good, making it a place they visit often. The inside space is beautiful and worth reserving, especially for special occasions like birthday parties. The outdoor area is nice but can be subject to flies and wildlife. Some visitors experienced a wait of about 40 minutes for their food and an additional 10-15 minutes to get the check, possibly due to busy times or the party. On the food, some enjoyed the steak platter, steak, and the prochettaz, though one mentioned the prochettaz could use more acid. The restaurant offers a variety of drinks, including well-made non-alcoholic options like a NA bloody Mary. Dishes such as the salmon tartare, strip steak, chicken wings, and cookies have also received praise. While the only meat option on Sundays is prime rib, some found it small and just okay. Guests also enjoy the burgers, such as the Butcher Burger, and the well-balanced drinks like the Espresso Martini and Journeymans Old Fashioned. The beautiful setting, along with tasty desserts, makes it a place worth returning to, with plans to try brunch soon. The menu regularly updates and impresses diners, who appreciate the homemade, scratch-made quality of the food.

Staff are super friendly, very attentive and never let our glasses sit empty. Food was wonderful , no complaints on anything.

The day we went there was a birthday party that seemed to have reserved the inside space. The inside space is gorgeous, make reservations to secure it. The outside space isn't bad, but it's the outside and...read full review

Sheesh... We went because it was on bringfido.com but the prices were very high for a place to bring you dog.
