I had the pleasure of meeting Chris and Javier at a gas station. When I saw there shirts that said Veronas, I asked a few questions and they informed me they worked there and raved about the food. Sure enough they were right. I took a ride to try it for the first time this evening. I ordered the mussels in red sauce appetizer, eggplant Parmesan, and a margarita pizza. Im gonna be very blunt. The pizza is expensive. Ive never paid these prices anywhere in the USA as a fulltime RV'er of 30 years. With that said, I will shut up n pay these prices even if it means i can only afford a 10" pie cuz the pizza is that good. IT IS WORTH THE MONEY. IVE FOUND NO PIZZA SUPERIOR. I love this place. Best in town imo. I have been eating here for 30 years. 30 years ago, they were the best in town... The best of 5 choices. Countless places have come and gone in 30 years, VERONA'S is still here! 50 options for pizza and subs today, still the best. You may find a dish somewhere and say it is, but I ask speaking for their entire menu. I tried it all and enjoyed it all. I have referred dozens of transplants without complaint. God willing, here's to 30 more.
