I'm from Chicago and when I got a beef sandwich and a combo it was like walking inside one of Chicago hotdogs restaurants. Food was great and tasty. Prices are reasonable and the owner and employees are very nice and friendly. We like about 40 minutes away and will make the drive to return back. If you are looking for some Chicago food this is the right place to go because you will not be disappointed.
Found the restaurant in 2018 and have occasionally during 2018 and 2019 enjoyed their beef sandwiches and wonderful Chicago Dogs. My visit last week showed a major change has taken place in personnel and physical appearance of the restaurant. The beef is classic, but the Friday fish fry is a hit. We try to have a date nite every week but, having such good food calling us has caused more dates. This week it was the pizza.
