“My husband and I came here last night and we had a great time. Hannah was an absolute gem, she happily answered all our questions and recommended good choices off the menu. We had the Hogfather sandwich on sourdough with fries, the chicken tenders tossed with the cilantro, corn, cojita cheese and other spices (they were huge) and we tried the gouda mac and cheese. We weren't too impressed with the mac and cheese but it was good, and the rest of the food was fantastic. My husband also loved their old fashioned.

They had a cover singer was wonderful as well.

We will definitely return if we head back to Ft. Meyers.“

“Nice place. Our waitress was very attentive, kept our ice tea full and remembered to keep plenty of Splena on the table. I ordered the Seafood Cobb Salad. I am a Cobb Salad fan and order one where ever I go. This one was huge and I mean a 12” plate piled on. All of the individual components were plentiful 5 grilled shrimp on top, tons of cherry tomatoes, a half a pig of bacon, bleu cheese, onions, and the rest were stacked high. Only thing that would have made it better would be chopped greens. I had to get a “kitty bag” for later. Desert was their Banana Bread Pudding with toasted bananas. Again huge could have shared it with 3. Wife ordered Crème Brûlée which she wouldn’t share. Only bump was wife’s entre, Dolphin fish came out topped with tomatoes which she is deathly allergic (not mentioned on the menu) but not to worry, they made her another lickety split. Two entrées, appetizer, ice tea, desert and nice tip came to just under $100 about average for a decent Cape Coral restaurant. Big smiles on this one.????“

“Mel’s Diner Cape Corral 3-4-25 Stopped by Mel’s on Monday around 12:30pm. This place was clean, neat, and busy. We got seated right away and Dee Dee was our waitress. I ordered the Western Black Angus Chopped Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Corn. My wife and our friend ordered the Mel’s Classic Cheeseburger with Cheese, Lettice, Tomato, Onions, Coleslaw, and Fries. Once our order came out my Chopped Steak was amazing. The Chopped Steak had Onions piled high on the top and lots of Gravy, it was so good. My wife and our friends Burger were done perfectly, and the Fries were just yummy and even the Coleslaw was good. All our food was hot and plenty of it as we had to get a to go box to take some home. Once done we ordered two Milkshakes, one Chocolate and one Strawberry. They were very good if you like old fashion Milkshakes get yourself one for sure. “My wife and I went Saturday night around 5:00pm to see some of our serves that left another establishment. I had been to Neverminds years ago but for some reason we has never gone back (it may have been because of Covid or because I thought they closed after the original owner passed away). Well when we arrived we saw one of the servers we went to see plus a few other people working there we knew. the band was setting up in the front bar so we sat at the back bar and we are glad we did. It was quiet so we could talk. Our friend stopped by to say hi plus a few other employees welcomed us. The bartender Lilly was so Awesome she was nice, fun and easy to joke with. All the employees seemed to get along and work well together. I can't forget to mention the food. My wife and I being picky eaters. I played it safe and had the Nevermind Pressed Burger and my wife had the Empandas. I never had a pressed burger it was delicious. My wife couldn't stop praising the Empanadas. I can't wait to go back. What a great place.“

“We've been going to Fathoms for years, the food, service and atmosphere are consistently superior. They offer food and drink specials, have live entertainment several nights a week, and best of all welcome our dog! You can bring your own chairs, too.“

“Went to this little gem twice in two days. After having the most delicious pumpkin ravioli and side salad. Other diners enjoyed soups, salads, mahi tacos, truffle fries and Mediterranean wrap. Everyone encountered here was friendly and helpful with guiding us with our orders. They have a decent beer and wine selection for a small place (if that’s a priority) to accompany your meal. We will definitely put this on our must visit list each trip to the Ft Myers area.“

“The food is great as usual. We've come to lunch or brunch here a few times. Large portions. The quiche never fails us. I like how crunchy their house made potato chips are, although sometimes they taste slightly over done. It's still a hot outside, but their patio seating is a nice environment. I've never sat inside so I can't comment on that. With that said, service can be courteous but seem curt.“

As a lifelong foodie who usually cooks high-end meals at home, I was genuinely impressed. Some of the negative reviews I’d seen beforehand now seem baffling — this place exceeded expectations across the board.

The food was outstanding. The beer-battered shrimp were the best I’ve ever had — light, crispy, and flavorful. The wings were excellent, and my wife loved her smoked pulled pork sandwich. Their signature fresh gator was also a standout. First-timers: go for the virgin breaded version — it’s far more tender and crispy than the flavored options.

Prices are very fair, especially considering the quality. The cocktails are strong and well-made, and their house IPA, Reef Donkey, was a surprise hit — easily the best IPA I’ve had.

Despite being a sports bar-style venue, it’s spotlessly clean, welcoming, and delicious. It’s a little off the beaten path, but absolutely worth the effort to find. We’ll definitely be back.“

Daniel our waiter was very friendly and helped us pick out the best wine for our meal. I indulged in the bolognese and hubby had the redfish special ( caught fresh by the chef!). The chicken nachos were great and the cheese never ran out. The fish street tacos could've used some zip and there was no additional sauce to help out. “Wow! Had never been until last night, although we frequently visit Sanibel. Can’t say enough about the quality of the food. My new all time favorite. A salad with tomatoes, watermelon, mozzarella, roasted pumpkin seed and a great dressing. Smoked tenderloin was a unique and fantastic dish.“

“Another one of those little Gems. Found it this week. Needed a nice place for our 4th Anniversary Dinner:
Called and made a reservation[Recommended] and we arrived at 17:30.was greeted and served Bread. The bread alone was exceptional.
I ordered the Rack of Lamb, my wife had the Pork Chop.
I must say, outside my own Kitchen, this was “The Best” Lamb I have ever had! Succulent, Tender, and cooked perfectly. The Pork Chop was also very good, probably the Tenderest I’ve ever tasted.
The servers here are what you would expect at a Four Star Restaurant.

We ordered lasagna, spaghetti with meatballs, scallops with risotto, Caprese salad, warm bread, cheesecake, and homemade Key lime pie. The lasagna was, as always, delicious and served in a generous portion. The spaghetti came with impressively large meatballs—definitely enough to share—and was packed with flavor. The scallops were cooked to perfection, and the risotto was wonderfully creamy. The cheesecake however lacked flavor, but the homemade key lime pie was amazing! It was a fantastic meal in a charming setting—truly a wonderful evening!“

“Last night, we ended up getting stuck in the storm coming back from the Sanibel causeway. Seeking shelter, we decided to dock next to this place. Soaking wet, asked if we could sit outside and order. I believe it was Sydney that was our waitress. (Had an English accent if that helps) Service was absolutely amazing.
