New American Restaurants near Cape Coral, FL

“Nice place. Our waitress was very attentive, kept our ice tea full and remembered to keep plenty of Splena on the table. I ordered the Seafood Cobb Salad. I am a Cobb Salad fan and order one where ever I go. This one was huge and I mean a 12” plate piled on. All of the individual components were plentiful 5 grilled shrimp on top, tons of cherry tomatoes, a half a pig of bacon, bleu cheese, onions, and the rest were stacked high. Only thing that would have made it better would be chopped greens. I had to get a “kitty bag” for later. Desert was their Banana Bread Pudding with toasted bananas. Again huge could have shared it with 3. Wife ordered Crème Brûlée which she wouldn’t share. Only bump was wife’s entre, Dolphin fish came out topped with tomatoes which she is deathly allergic (not mentioned on the menu) but not to worry, they made her another lickety split. Two entrées, appetizer, ice tea, desert and nice tip came to just under $100 about average for a decent Cape Coral restaurant. Big smiles on this one.????“

“This is a must try on the Cape! The menu is interesting. The food is excellent. They have a bit of a unique setup with the main restaurant on one side of a central wall and cocktail lounge on the other side. They have very different atmospheres but both are cool depending on what you are looking for. Note: they have separate outside entrances but you can move between the two without going outside. Also the full menu is available on both sides. If you read my reviews you know I care about the details that makes a place good or meh. In This is what makes 10 Twenty Five above average 1) the food: interesting takes on standard that make this place stand out. The quality is high and consistent. Including taco Tuesday where they present a special taco of the week along with the normal “gringo” tacos. They also offer a soup of the day. Unlike most restaurants it’s actually a home made soup that reflects the unique imagination that is seen in the rest of the menu. The same can be said about the Saturday-Sunday brunch offerings. 2) Drinks: Smart cocktails and an excellent tap beer selections have something for everyone. 3) Staff: Almost all are over the top friendly and they work on a team system so there’s no one person you are dependent on to serve you. They all work together at the bar and tables to make sure you have what you want when you want it, including the check. Unfortunately, I don’t have a bunch of great pics of the food to post but many others have done that before me. Enjoy this cool spot.

“Mel’s Diner Cape Corral 3-4-25 Stopped by Mel’s on Monday around 12:30pm. This place was clean, neat, and busy. We got seated right away and Dee Dee was our waitress. I ordered the Western Black Angus Chopped Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Corn. My wife and our friend ordered the Mel’s Classic Cheeseburger with Cheese, Lettice, Tomato, Onions, Coleslaw, and Fries. Once our order came out my Chopped Steak was amazing. The Chopped Steak had Onions piled high on the top and lots of Gravy, it was so good. My wife and our friends Burger were done perfectly, and the Fries were just yummy and even the Coleslaw was good. All our food was hot and plenty of it as we had to get a to go box to take some home. Once done we ordered two Milkshakes, one Chocolate and one Strawberry. They were very good if you like old fashion Milkshakes get yourself one for sure. “Nevermind made our Sunday! My daughters and I visited on April 6, 2025, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, the DJ's music was a hit with my kids, and the service was exceptional. Fawn, Hanna, and another incredibly kind staff member (who even brought my daughters cupcakes!) made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was lively, perfect for a fun afternoon. We'll definitely be back!“

(Especially off season on a weekday) I took a pic of happy hour specials that look a little more reasonable . They do have Half portions of some menu items that shake out a little cheaper.“

“Beautiful setting overlooking the marina. I dined here with 3 friends this evening and we all had a great experience. All 4 dishes were well prepared and delicious. Our waitress was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. It was Friday night so we were able to hear the talented oldies band playing in the square area. Definitely recommend!“

I note Amanda, a SemGulf All Star, and am most appreciative of her. She took several frantic phone calls from me because I couldn't even solve the mysteries of Waze and Maps circling Colonial Blvd, Winkler, Metro, Hanson, and Airport for one hour before arriving at the depot at 6:20pm. Despite our tardiness, Amanda shepherded us to our train car where John (aka Major Drake Payne) and Taylor (our principal server) calmly and efficiently repeated what they had already instructed passengers. The troop brought nourishment and entertainment as the train rocked.I apologize to the car's prompt passengers also--or perhaps, they realized that I was no competitive sleuth--heck, I couldn't find a massive train much less nab a felon. 🤓“

None of us were very tech savvy, so we had some difficulty with the app. Dylan could not have been more patient, and helped us get through the entire process. The food was delicious! “Went to this little gem twice in two days. After having the most delicious pumpkin ravioli and side salad. Other diners enjoyed soups, salads, mahi tacos, truffle fries and Mediterranean wrap. Everyone encountered here was friendly and helpful with guiding us with our orders. They have a decent beer and wine selection for a small place (if that’s a priority) to accompany your meal. “The restaurant has a great water view. We were there for Mother’s Day and they had a buffet brunch. The food and service were both good. We’ll definitely be back for their regular dinner menu.“

“My dad always takes me out for breakfast so this time we went to Fowler Street Grill.
The inside is very small and cluttered. We weren’t sure if we can just pick a table or wait for someone to seat us. The vibe is like family, it was evident that the same people eat there often.
The food was really good! I had two eggs over easy with bacon,? toast, and home fries (whenever I go out for breakfast, I always ask them melt American cheese over it with peppers and onions. I call it “sexy home fries”)? I also had a cup of coffee which comes in a real size coffee mug, not a small one the rest of the diners use. ☕️ The only problem I had was that the eggs weren’t completely done, ? it still had the clear, raw part of the egg. I don’t send food back so I just ate everything else because it was soooo good ?

“Had an incredible birthday dinner with my husband last night at Coste. Troy the bartender treated me to a wonderful cosmopolitan before dinner. Daniel our waiter was very friendly and helped us pick out the best wine for our meal. I indulged in the bolognese and hubby had the redfish special ( caught fresh by the chef!). Great views and ambience for my birthday celebration.“

They offer a great variety of options including ice cream.“

The restaurant is on the second level overlooking the water and boats.
First off, the service was phenomenal. The host was easy going, took us outside but that was a bit cold with the rain. No issue, moved us inside.
Our server was great. He was attentive but not pushy or overbearing.
We ordered the Octopus and Crab Cakes appetizers. Honestly, the octopus itself had no flavor. I've never had octopus before so not sure there, but the scampi sauce was very good.
The crab cakes were also very good and a good size too.

Overall, I would definitely go back.“

I grabbed a couple of my cake tiers..and went to see what she held for me... they were very delicious cupcakes! “Another one of those little Gems. Found it this week. Needed a nice place for our 4th Anniversary Dinner:
Called and made a reservation[Recommended] and we arrived at 17:30.was greeted and served Bread. The bread alone was exceptional.
I ordered the Rack of Lamb, my wife had the Pork Chop.
I must say, outside my own Kitchen, this was “The Best” Lamb I have ever had! Succulent, Tender, and cooked perfectly. The Pork Chop was also very good, probably the Tenderest I’ve ever tasted.
The servers here are what you would expect at a Four Star Restaurant.

Housed in a beautifully remodeled turn-of-the-century home, the restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly compliments the dining experience. We ordered lasagna, spaghetti with meatballs, scallops with risotto, Caprese salad, warm bread, cheesecake, and homemade Key lime pie. The lasagna was, as always, delicious and served in a generous portion. The spaghetti came with impressively large meatballs—definitely enough to share—and was packed with flavor. The scallops were cooked to perfection, and the risotto was wonderfully creamy. The cheesecake however lacked flavor, but the homemade key lime pie was amazing! It was a fantastic meal in a charming setting—truly a wonderful evening!“
