“Had a party of 10 and the service was good and the server did a good job of keeping up with our orders and keeping our drinks filled.
Food was good. Wasn't a huge fan of the brownie dessert.
We all really enjoyed the water taxi ride over to the restaurant.“

“My wife & I ate just days ago & was the worst experience in years, cod was Extremely heavily breaded, the mashed potatoes were actually barely cooked baked potatoes with the top mashed a little with a fork? The fries my wife got were undercooked and cool. I am afraid to complain too much as the cook has ways for revenge when he “fixes” the food & returns it. The waitress was fine. Never Again……..Never!“

This was our 4th time here in the past year and I have tried something different each time. This time I had the Kentucky Hot Brown, which was very good. “The water taxi ride is normally only $6 per person (but actually free for the entire month of Aug 2025!). Not sure why people are saying it's $20-30 for the Water Taxi listing in Maps. The cost of the average meal at the Rum Bay *restaurant* on the island is close to that, so the expenses for each different entity involved needs to be separated.“

“After a long day of driving, this place was exactly what we needed. The ambiance is relaxing and welcoming, with all staff smiling. Jody, our server, was attentive and pleasant. I had the Caesar salad with seared tuna, and it was superb (photo). My wife had the "small" shrimp and grits, and it was tasty as well as a generous portion. We shared the mango key lime pie, which was delicious. Sometimes you just get lucky; tonight was one of those times.“

“Decent food , good service. Sadly we made reservations and were seated in the entertainment space so were told we had limited time to eat and move. Entertainment was there barely an hour into our meal and we felt very rushed…. So much for reservations!“

“We vacation in Englewood every year and Paraiso has been on our list of “must go” restaurants for years. We always make it here at least once during the trip and year over year, Paraiso consistently delivers the best service and excellent authentic food — there’s something on the menu for everyone, including your pickiest eaters. We are a group of 10 and we still get seated quickly any time we come. It’s a treat that we nearly always have Esteban taking care of us— he’s friendly, very funny, and incredibly attentive. I’ve tried many different menu items but my favorites are the Paraiso Chicken (order it as “happy chicken” if you have Esteban as your server, he’ll tell you how this menu item has a different name at every place haha) and the chimichangas— if you like veggies with your meat, the fajita chimichanga is the move!

Overall, Paraiso is a family favorite. From strawberry margaritas to their incredible homemade salsa (made fresh daily — it’s far superior to most other similar restaurants), they’ve got the goods to serve up an incredible experience.“

“We loved South beach Grille. The food was great. The pasta is sneaky good and I had USDA Choice Cheeseburger that we was fantastic. The view is outstanding as the only restaurant on Boca Grande on the beach. great atmosphere for beach dining.“
