I ordered the Irish Benedict with a perfectly poached egg, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and savory, and the egg was cooked just right that beautiful soft yolk that runs perfectly when you cut into it. Everything tasted fresh, hot, and made with care. The portion size was generous too I almost finished the entire plate and only had one bite left by the end, which says a lot because I rarely clean my plate like that!What really stood out to me, though, was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. The food came out quickly, but I never felt rushed. It’s clear they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a fast, delicious, and welcoming breakfast spot in Port Charlotte, Hometown Grill is definitely worth visiting. I’ll absolutely be back!“

“We are regular customers and always loved Donato’s. Tonight’s dinner was disappointing. The fresh mozzarella is our favorite and it is usually spectacular. Tonight, not so much. It obviously was not pulled fresh as usually is the case and what is advertised. It was dense and obviously not fresh. The entrees were fine but my wife’s lobster Ravioli showed up about ten minutes before my veal parm was brought to the table. Overall, dinner was fine but it wasn’t the usual experience we are used to. We will be back because the thought of having to stop dining at Donato’s because of a decline in quality is depressing.“

“I just ate lunch at healthy pho and it was excellent as always . I had the chicken soup and jasmine tea . Janell was my server and she gave me excellent service. She was very helpful and pleasant. She made the whole experience that much better ! I highly recommend this place !“

“I had an afternoon meal on my trek along I-75. I had my usual chicken and dumplings with green beans, mashed potatoes, fried apples and biscuits. It was delicious, hot and fast. The waitresses worked together and kept food and drinks moving. The management team was meeting at the big table beside me. It was exciting to hear them planning positive customer experiences for the coming holidays. The company has made notable improvements with a return to high food quality and large portions. “My husband and I went in for the first time the day before Thanksgiving. We were pleasantly surprised. Kind cashiers and food came out pretty quick. We both had the burrito bowls and it was plenty of food. The highlight was Andrew. (Not sure of his “title”). My husband’s tea was on the verge of sour so I went up to exchange for a soda. (It wasn’t a big deal to us as it was later in the night… it happens). He came up to our table to verify which tea and then he made a fresh batch. We watched him check on tables and refill drinks. It is just refreshing to see young employees who have a great work ethic. We will be back!“
