“It’s very solid takeout Japanese (which is kinda rare to see). The price is a bit high for the portion size compared to similar places.

Vegetarian options: There’s not a lot besides stir fried veggies.

“I’ve been here maybe 50 times 😂 either via uber eats or in person. The service is super quick, nice, and today, even a chef stepped up to the check out counter to make sure the process was quick and I didn’t have to wait on a check out person. The food never leaves me feeling sick, and they only use olive oil (vs canola or other sub par, cheap oil) - huge perk. For a vegan - this place is a huge win!!

The service was impeccable, servers were EXTREMELY attentive and courteous on making sure our table was very well taken care of. The buffet for sure kept me full and content all day!! “1st time here, so I grabbed a couple of slices for lunch. One pepperoni and one meat lovers. Came out to just under $8.00, which isn't bad considering how big these were. The crust was New York style, thin crust, just like they advertise. The sauce has great flavor without overpowering everything else. The cheese was plentiful and mild but complemented the rest of the slice. Toppings were plentiful enough to get a taste in every bite. I should have taken pictures, but I was too hungry and they smelled too good. I'd like to try some of their more traditional Italian dishes. Their togo menu only shows full portions, I don't know if they have a lunch special, but I'll be there soon!“

“I went to The Glass Knife with my husband for the first time today. We had an amazing experience, the food was deliciosos, the coffee exquisite, I had the Costa Rican pour over, one of the best I have ever had. The service was absolutely perfect, Zay took care of us and she was very pleasant and welcoming.“

“This is a belated review, but back in late November of 2022 I had a somewhat last minute request for a custom cake for my husband and his twin sister Sylvia’s 60th Birthday that was on December 4th. It was to be a surprise for them and I wanted it to be extra special. I reached out to Dan and expressed to him my ideas and he accommodated them perfectly and beautifully. The cake was covered with photos of them together through the years. I will never forget how truly special the cake was and what it meant to my husband Ed and his sister Sylvia. What I didn’t express at the time was that my sister-in-law had been recently diagnosed with metastatic cancer and I realized how extra special this Birthday would be. Sadly, we lost her shortly after her 61st Birthday on December 16, 2023. I just want to thank you whole heartedly for being kind and considerate, providing incredible customer service, and of course, for making a very special cake for a very special occasion. “Orlando, FL. Close to the 417, this is a quick stop for a healthy meal. You choose your base from a few options, choose three toppings, and a protein. Btw I thought the pesto noodles were Zoodles (zucchini) so if you’re avoiding carbs ask questions. Everything tasted great!!!“

“All I can say is “WOW!! Had the most amazing Ruben sandwich ever! I’m very picky about my deli sandwiches because I don’t care for fatty anything. My Ruben was 100% lean meat, sauerkraut and dressing. The potato salad was incredible and the pickles were delicious! My husband had the Italian panini, and couldn’t say enough great things about it! JJ was our waitress and she made sure we were well taken care of. Glen, the manager, stopped by to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. There was so much food and we gladly took home our leftovers!! Overall, an outstanding meal and we will definitely be back soon! Thanks Pickles, for a memorable meal! You made a good day great!“

“Just ate the spicy bacon grilled cheese and OMG! Lots of flavor and delectable down to the last bite. I tried the garlic cheese bread and that was scrumptious. So glad the place has reopened and will be buying breads as gifts and for the holidays. We like to get the bread sliced and freeze it in sections to take out and enjoy over time.“

Outstanding Team Manager Shivani Kapoor and her team manages really well. I know Paul Kappoor for 18 years- Masters Chef- super smart, quick...highly capable entrepreneur.
Other Good people i should not forget is RoopaSri - very nice, polite, intelligent, quick and absorbs every thing in one go..such a young age or young ...met her first time.. Amazing.
Put a Kudos to them and recommend Gateway to India in Longwood, always.
Highlly reasonable also according to my family:)))))since i dont pay too much attention i guess. Thanks so much again

Drinks, bread, and a few tapas we ordered were served almost at the end of the meal. I’ll sit at the bar in the future. The main waitress was acceptable, the second waitress seemed angry 😡. Questions like is there a chance we could get our bread , and how are our short ribs going , gave server number two an opportunity to offer her surly look. 👀“
