“As someone visiting from out of town, I wasn't sure what to expect, but The Glass Knife exceeded my expectations. The bakery selection was amazing, with so many delicious looking options that it was hard to choose just one thing.

What really stood out was the service. I had quite a few questions about the different pastries and desserts, and the staff was incredibly patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. They never made me feel rushed and took the time to answer everything, which made the experience even better.

The atmosphere was fantastic as well as warm, inviting, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy a treat. After getting recommendations and learning more about their offerings, I ended up leaving with a handful of items, and I'm glad I did because everything was excellent.

“I started going to Athena’s when my son and family first moved to Maitland over 17 years ago. Since 2018 I went there at least once a week. Having to move back to Connecticut, I miss their chicken so much. My grandchildren know when I come to visit that is the first place I stop to eat. Their chicken is always so delicious and moist. Drinks are great as well, and the service is friendly. Both times we’ve sat outside so I cannot speak to the atmosphere indoors but outside is a nice spacious patio with the occasional car but nothing too loud“
