“First time customer to smoking Jay I noticed field peas on the menu. Tried it, love it, over yellow rice. Chicken so tender and flavorful I eat the bones like I used to with Grandma's fried Chicken. I was impressed and it's hard to impress me. I declare myself a repeat customer.“

“Fantastic food, fantastic service. The chicken & dumplins is a dish that I don't think I'll ever forget. I will be back soon to order again! I recommend getting early if driving, the Ivanhoe parking can get a little wild. Excited to go back!“

“What a lil gem! I love this place. It has a very unique menu. The fried green tomatoes are excellent. To call it comfort food is an understatement. They even have kool aid. The coleslaw was uniquely refreshing. My mom is very particular and she was so impressed with this place. We are definitely coming back.“

“First thing I want to say is the food is AMAZING. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich for brunch. There were 4 options in heat, I got it hot… and it was HOT. If you’re a spicy person, it is just the right amount of spice where you can still taste the chicken. SOOOO good. Cole slaw and sauce on the side for your personal tasting and I dipped it both which made it so much better. I also got the roasted beets as an appetizer and it was a VERY refreshing welcoming dish to open up the gates. They have a very diverse menu and accommodate vegan/vegetarian eaters. My friends got the burger and chicken and biscuits. I got the pleasure of tasting both and OMG. ALL THEIR FOOD IS DELICIOUS. I also got the “My Boy Blue” blueberry beer that reminds me of the Sea Dog brewing beer which pairs SO well with the hot sandwiches. The staff is awesome. The atmosphere is welcoming. Overall a great experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. Drop it on your list of places to visit if you’re a local or tourist.“

“I initially went there to pick up my birthday cake from Valhalla bakery next door. Unfortunately they were closed, which was my fault for misreading their hours. However, there was Dharma! Me and my husband were hungry and decided to try them out. Wow, so yummy! They do have salads for those wanting to eat more wfpb. Great little spot for a quick bite.“

“1st time here. Got the Five & Dime with the country fried steak option and Shiitake Gravy. Flavor was great. The biscuits are soft, the gravy was the best part for me..was a little spicy too which was nice. My only gripes, which kinda put at a "Meh" rating was the country fried steak was not breaded or fried at all. It's like they did a "smash" burger version of the chopped beef and put it on there. It was very chewy/fatty and hard chew. Second gripe is it was cold. The whole thing. Not sure how you make an entire dish and it all be cold but it was. More proof of that was the slice of cheddar that was on it..wasn't melted in the slightest..it was only at the "shiny point. Granted the restaurant itself was like being in a cooler but if the food was hot to begin with it would've been noticeable. Overall I liked it but not sure if I'd get that dish again. I'll prob get something else I can get that gravy on.“

“I've been here many times, but I recently took my company's executive team and we were blown away. Most notice were the pork belly s'mores. A savory miso marshmallow? Outstanding. I love the vibe in here, the decor is beautiful and it's not too loud but not awkwardly quiet either. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable“

I had it with yellow rice, Mac and cheese, green beans, and corn bread and OMG everything was amazing! I ordered one order and it was enough for my husband and I to share ? I will definitely be going back ?“

“loved this place. Great food and atmosphere. It's a mix of bbq and Korean food. I got the chicken bento , my mom got the spare ribs, and my dad got the mills 50. all of it tasted really good and was cooked perfectly. the only complaint we had was the brisket my dad had was very salty.parking is horrible, but if you can find parking, it's definitely worth a stop in.Parking: the parking lot is very tiny. there is some street parking, but you may still have to circle a few times before you find a spot.“

“Had been a while, maybe a couple of years, since I'd been, but I definitely won't make that mistake again. Every single thing ordered was on point. Sleepy little gem in Sanford serving elevated takes on Southern favorites. Came for a late dinner (9 p.m.) and ordered our way through small plates tapas style. Every single thing was lovingly and expertly prepared. One incredible standout was the Tomato Mac. When it was brought to the table, I thought it looked like it would be a little bland and watery, but OMG, the flavors and texture in this dish were incredible - a sweet and savory delight. Another standout was the chicken liver mousse. Chef's kiss! Also worked our way through hoecakes and the sticky ribs - the meat of which just fell off the bone. They were expertly trimmed and the Asian inspired glaze was to die for. Also sampled the cheddar jalapeno biscuits and the mushroom angolotti - all delicious. For dessert (all made in house), the cornmeal pie was to die for. Also had the smoked salted caramel ice cream, which was quite unique and inventive, as were the biscuits and chocolate "gravy."Even though the staff and kitchen were surely ready to wind down close to closing, we received excellent and gracious service and everything continued to be executed with great care and skill.I will definitely be sure to visit much more often! Compliments to the owners and staff!“

“This was my first time visiting this location, as we were visiting family while on vacation. We had a larger group that arrived in stages.I’ve been to CB’s local to me in NC, and have had less than desirable experiences. Poor service, slow food delivery… not on brand for CB. That said, this place not only bucked that trend, but probably sets the bar when it comes to an overall high quality experience. Our food was delivered quickly, hot, and large portions. The store itself was clean and the staff we interacted with were all pleasant. However, the true star of the dinner was our waitress, Savannah, who handled our groups “stages” of arrival so well, while also tending to her other tables to ensure they were never forgotten. I’m used to receiving less than good service when seated with a large group, but Savannah made a point to ensure every guest in our party had their needs met.Overall, I’m thankful that CB and Savannah made our family’s get-together a pleasant experience!Parking: Plenty of space, similar to other stores.Kid-friendliness: Has ample amounts of kids menu options.Wheelchair accessibility: One of our guests was in a wheelchair, and she was able to fully access every part of the store.“

“As usual, my vegan burnt ends were delicious. I do appreciate how the employees are able to get me gluten-free and pork free on request. Everyone seemed knowledgeable. I'll be back later to get my bread pudding.Dietary restrictions: Every employee knows ingredients and if they don't, they find out quickly.“

“This is my favorite BBQ place. I always stop when I'm in town.I am in love with the Bacon Burnt Ends. The sides are pretty good. Recommend the beans and the hot BBQ sauce. This place is usually very busy and it may take some waiting, especially if you want a seat. Service is pretty fast. Love the menu written on butcher paper, hung on the wall.“

“I loveeeeee me a good drag show! Everything went smooth as far as getting reservations. Parking is a little hard to find unfortunately but we ended up finding a lot we paid $10 to park. When we got there it did take a little bit to get greeted by our server but they all were super apologetic. I loved how all the staff worked together to make sure all tables were tended to. Everyone loved their food. I unfortunately didn't get my food due to the kitchen running out of what I ordered but that was ok. I'm came into this knowing how this goes so I understood it was a chance to not get what I wanted. I do think the menu needs a little updating to more simplified dishes but they had a few great choices nonetheless. The show was great. The main queen did seem a little exhausted but she was still great. We absolutely loved the other two girls and their acts. Just an overall fun time!“

“I started coming to the Townhouse about 9 years ago, at the original location. It wasn’t until the new location that I really started loving the food and especially the friends that I would make working here. It’s also a great atmosphere. My kids are always excited for the food, I especially love kids eat free on Mondays and Tuesdays.“

“The Old Jail House is a has great food and great armosphere in downtown Sanford. The menu is small, but the flavor and execution of the dishes is on point. Also, had a old fashioned cocktail that exceeded my expectations. The way the incorporate tge jail theme throught the restaurants is brilliant. Reserve a table days in advance on the weekends or you may not be able to visit this gem.Parking: The City has a free parking lot a block from the spot but its gets pretty congested during the weekends. The on-street parking is free but difficult to come by at peak hours.“

“Rarely leave reviews, but need to give credit where it’s due. Absolutely love CSC, my favorite being the Chicken Salad melts! Recently ordered catering twice and the service was fantastic! Chelsea & Rachelle wear so accommodating, professional & helpful in assisting with my order, scheduling & delivery. I also worked with a gentleman prior whom was great but his name escapes me. Our staff agrees this is our favorite catered lunch, as well. Can’t wait till next time! Thank you!“

“This is one of my favorite places. Everything I've tried is always good. Last time I went it was during lunch on a weekday, I placed a mobile order and came when it said it was going to be ready and still had to wait an additional 10 minutes. So just plan ahead if you are un a rush because they were PACKED.“

“The food wasn't too bad. This was a quick stop through. I ordered through the drive thru. Server was okay, there wasn't a long wait. Can't speak on the ambience inside but parking lot had few cars. Won't mind stopping in again in the future but won't say I'm running back.“

“This place is a great spot to grab diner style breakfast. We’ve been here multiple times. I got the country benedict which was sausage, gravy, and a poached egg on top of a biscuit with hash browns. My husband got the tuna melt. It was really tasty and the service was good. Pretty cheap we paid $25 including a >20% tip. We will definitely be returning.“
