Panera Bread in Clearwater

“I’ve been having lunch and dinner at Panera Bread for more than 15 years, in many locations across Florida, especially near where I live.
Today I stopped at this location, and I truly felt the need to share how exceptional the service was. The person who welcomed and served us, Heather, was absolutely remarkable.
She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. I have honestly never experienced such a warm and compassionate welcome in any Panera Bread before.
I was with my daughter who had just been injured and my wife who wasn’t feeling well. Heather took the time to listen, showed real empathy, and treated us with a level of kindness that made a difficult moment much easier.
On top of that, she even spoke French, which made the interaction even more special and comforting for us.
Her smile and positive energy made a real difference. She truly felt like an angel sent at the right moment.
People like Heather deserve to be recognized. If I could give six stars instead of five, I absolutely would.

“This is Panera with a drive through. Same great standard menu.
Today we grabbed a coffee which is cool because I can mix my own from a few varieties and I go half decaf with mixing in a dark roast with a hazelnut twist. The tea station offers 3 blends. I chose almond milk over 2% or half n half. Of course I choose a cinnamon roll covered in do much glaze that it looked like the cinnamon roll was incognito. The flavor was great !
They have 3 brewed teas in self serve containers and Pepsi® fountain drinks and iced coffee and hot coffees that are eligible for Sips Club. Monthly membership for free beverages every 2 hours.
Rewards club gives me a special offer every time either a $1 pastry or bagel or BOGO meal special
Accessible order kiosk and order counter if you prefer a human interaction.
I learned that they offer soups after late morning and do the self order kiodk wasn't broken.
Accessible restrooms with dedicated stall with 2 grab bars and 4ft x5ft space

I’ve personally witnessed their kindness on several occasions. One example that stands out involves a man with special needs who frequently visits the store. He wears a green t-shirt, often talks to himself, and can sometimes be loud. The staff always treat him with patience and respect. What truly speaks volumes is how they show kindness even when they think no one is watching—never a dismissive gesture or glance, just consistent, quiet compassion. In a world where kindness can be rare, the team at this Panera Bread sets a beautiful example. Their attitude makes this location feel welcoming and comforting—almost like a second home.
