Saturday at Cracker Barrel is pork chop day. Their chops are excellent. Wife had their chicken breast. Don't know about their whole menu, but what we've eaten there has been very good. I've had a steak and that was good also.
Lunch was such a treat! I got the new French toast with strawberries & cream. It came with delicious bacon too. It was decadent.My husband got the fried chicken dinner of 4 pieces with 2 sides of potatoe has browns with cheese. He ate 2 small pieces of chicken and one potato hash and took the rest home. We love cracker barrel. The service is excellent the food is always great. It is a great place to go if you're in a hurry or if you just want to lounge and take your time. Also that country shop is also a nice little added touch with lots of little knick knacks and items to buy. We especially like the classic type of candies that they have.
