Went last week to the Showcase of Citrus with my kid's school and totally forgot to bring myself a lunch. This opened around 11am, just in time for the kids to eat. I went over and ordered 3 empanadas for $9.99. They had a convenient call system that worked even a hundred feet away (so I could still chaperone). The empanadas (shredded chicken, shredded beef, ground beef) were absolutely amazing! They were cornmeal based and tasted similar to some of the best arepas I've ever had....read full review
Very nice place to visit with or without children. They have a nice local family own gift shop with local wine! The monster truck ride was very educational. Tim was our guide and did an awesome job. We came back to a petting area with an ostrich, sheep, and many more. The views were fantastic for pictures!

Pastelitos Abuelo Juan is a food truck at Showcase of Citrus in Clermont. I have bought chicken as well as cheese empanadas at this food truck on two occasions and they were delicious! My favorite empanadas place in Orlando. They have different sauces that go with the empanadas. The staff is very nice, the food is ready in a timely manner and the order was accurate both times. If they were closer to my home, I would buy their empanadas weekly.
