I’m a gringo, so I’m not going to pretend I know all the proper words for how good this food is, but wow. Every empanada I tried was absolutely amazing. Crispy, hot, packed with flavor, and gone way too fast.

The Pabellón plate was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. No exaggeration. I was sitting there like, “Yep, this is the kind of meal that changes people.”

Fast service, great food, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The owners are amazing people too, and they made the whole experience even better. If you haven’t tried La Jefa del Pabellón yet, fix your life and go.

My husband had the shrimp and chicken noodles. He is not fond of Vietnamese food and stated it was good, right amount of seasoning. Both portions were large. The shrimp summer rolls with peanut sauce were excellent!“

I stepped into this unassuming place on a Friday for lunch, my expectations were not high. I ordered pork with spicy basil sauce which came with an appetizer. I chose hot and sour soup and braced for disappointment - their recent competitors were top San Francisco Chinatown restaurants. Surprise! I don’t exaggerate when I say this might have been the best H&S soup I’ve had - ever. The basil pork? Perfect spice perfect vegetable/meat ratio, push the soy sauce away flavor in the sauce. We’ll be back.“

“I am from up north, so there really is no chinese type Food down here period. I find that number one walk is the best chinese type food here. I still have never found any chicken wings. Anywhere, any store any restaurant better than theirs. I always get the wings, you gotta try. And they are the best“

“Just like any other Lechonera, the food was oily both for the rice and the meat. I went in when they had the lunch special for less than $10, the Styrofoam plate was filled beyond what I can eat. They also have baked goods available that looks appetizing, homemade ice cream, although it is very spanish with too much condensed milk making the ice cream not taste so good. The ambiance of the restaurant was quiet with a diner style L shape layout including wrap around hip height dual view windows facing south and east.
Usually not busy around the noon time with busy times being after 3pm. Centrally located at the us 50 and us 27 hwy intersection it is not as busy as others in the Orlando Metro area. Lastly, it is a stand alone restuarant, they allow take-out orders.“
