Late Saturday afternoon lunch, arrived after 2pm, looked busy. Wait time quoted 35-40 mins which was not bad considering. We found some stools, grabbed a couple drinks and waited, lots to look at so wait didn't seem bad at all. Bartender was fast and efficient and seemed to really enjoy his job. This was our second visit to the Salt Shake, first time we sat outside with our dog. Upon being seated we looked over the menus and waited. We sat for a good 8-10 minutes before someone asked if we had been helped. I was annoyed at this point and was ready to go talk to someone. Our waitress Alex changed my attitude immediately with her bubbly and friendly personality. She was very helpful with recommendations for starters as well as the specials. We had to wait 70 min on a Saturday evening but we both agreed it was worth the wait after we had blackened mahi tacos and crab cake sandwich. We also had conch fritters and steamed shrimp. It was clear that the shrimp were fresh. I can't wait to come back and try the fried shrimp.
