“As a Venezuelan and former owner of a business in this field, I must admit that the empanadas are very good, they have good seasoning; three recommendations: * the lady who served us must apply her best charisma when dealing with clients, polite but somewhat “dry”, (imagine that she is a hostess in her house, with beloved family members), * they need to have other drinks that are NOT just soft drinks canned Coca-Cola (Juice, Coffee, etc.), I had to go look for a drink more suitable for breakfast. * As the store is a little hidden from the main road, place a colorful (talkative) advertisement with an image at the entrance to the shopping center.Good luck and yes, I will eat again, I want to repeat the experience of Guava with cheese.“

“We had a late lunch, around 1:30. Restaurant had about 10 customers and was clean and spacious. Server (maybe owner) Santiago, was very friendly and helpful. Tried 3 street tacos; rice and beans; chips and salsa; and, Mojarra. The Mojarra (deep fried Talapia) is made picante so let your comfort level be know when ordering or ask that it be made with garlic. Tacos are served with onions, cilantro, and radish on fresh corn tortillas. The salsa was fresh and the chips were warm and crisp and tasty. We sampled some of the more spicy salsa with the chips and also had some of the salsa verde: a must try). Reasonably priced and the cold beer very reasonably priced compared to other similar restaurants (Modelo Especial at this writing was $3.50). Soft drinks available as well. Clean restrooms. Quite satisfied. Don't have pictures but those posted by others are spot on and representative of what we had.Kid-friendliness: Menu items for kids.“

“Hidden gems often come in unexpected places, and Tipico Café Latino is no exception. Tucked away as a modest hole-in-the-wall establishment, my initial skepticism quickly transformed into sheer delight as I savored the delectable flavors of the Caribbean cuisine served here.Upon entering Tipico Café Latino, it's evident that the focus is on the food rather than the decor. While the ambiance may not be anything to rave about, the flavors that emerge from the kitchen more than make up for it. I opted for the mofongo, a dish close to my heart, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it surpassed any mofongo I had previously tasted. The blend of flavors and textures was simply exquisite, leaving me craving more with each bite.To complement the meal, I indulged in a refreshing glass of fresh, natural lemonade, which served as the perfect accompaniment to the bold and vibrant flavors of the dishes.Despite its unassuming appearance, Tipico Café Latino boasts a friendly and attentive staff who are passionate about sharing their culinary creations with patrons. Their warm hospitality adds to the overall dining experience and makes guests feel welcomed and valued. In conclusion, while Tipico Café Latino may not win any awards for its decor, it more than makes up for it with its exceptional food and friendly service. If you're in search of authentic Caribbean cuisine that tantalizes the taste buds and leaves you beyond satisfied, look no further than Tipico Café Latino.“

“Great local restaurant with a creative menu. We particularly LOVE their delicious Jibaro sandwich served on tastier and lower carb tostones instead of bread. The Jibaro is the most delicious sandwich I’ve ever had! We also like the way they serve plenty of icewater in a big bottle.Their staff is friendly despite sometimes being very busy. And finally, we’ve bought artwork on display at Chez Quan’s with 100% going to the artists.“

“Do not judge it by the appearance. It is simple in decoration but they know how to cook Puerto Rican and El Salvadorian food. We had 3 orders of Mofongo & Tostones with MayoKetchup, an order of Papusas (bean and cheese) and the beans and rice were fantastic. Genesis was sour server and she was so kind and attentive. Fantastic experience for the 3 of us. Wish we lived in the area so we could visit often.“
