“This is a little hole in the wall that you may not even notice from the street it looks like a house almost. My wife and I went there for lunch and it was quite delicioso, I got classic pulled pork & black beans that were better than I've had anywhere else. The pupusas were also quite good and larger than I've had at other places. And the enchiladas were made with homemade thicker tortillas so that's a nice touch. The enchiladas just came by themselves (4) with no rice and beans. It was a little difficult to order because of the language barrier so that's my only caveat if you don't speak Spanish.“

“Apr 2024: Came in on a Friday night for dinner. Was seated immediately and place was full. Ordered 2 chicken empanadas and 1 seasonal shrimp. Also got the steak skewers and steak churrasco with rice & beans and tostones. Everything was fantastic! This place made me so happy, it was so good. They have wine and beer as well. I highly recommend this place.“
“This is a great mom & pop place that I order from regularly, usually every other week. I highly recommend the mofongo and porkchop. You can not go wrong with the tacos or yummy burritos either. They've always gone above & beyond to accommodate little food requests like no dairy.“

“Mexican Restaurants are my favorite places to eat, especially for the first time. Agave is no exception, the festive atmosphere, excellent service and cordial atmosphere are all here. I would give a five star, but my seafood enchiladas had very little seafood in it. A few dices up shrimp pieces (about 6 morsels, and maybe some stringy crab meat, I think), and as disappointing as that may seem, the margaritas are excellent, and the Bartender's attitude, still warranted four stars.I highly recommend this place, but not so much the seafood enchilads.Timbo K.“

“I have to say something negative about the chairs and tables. They are all made out of metal and the staff do not know how to lift them off of the ground. So several times, we could not even think straight because of the nose that they made rearranging tables and chairs... Deafening. You definitely cannot have a conversation if they are rearranging anything.Food great, drinks great, atmosphere and location great. Ethan was our server and he was always available and had all the answers and suggestions we needed.This is definitely one of the better waterfront eateries in the area.“
