“When visiting the area for a weekend we searched for somewhere to get doubles for breakfast. We luckily came across D Trini Spot. The food was so delicious that we came back a second time. The owner, Peats was pleasant as we all talked about Trinidad. We had doubles, Saheena, aloo pie, sada with saltfish and bake with saltfish. There’s plenty of drink options, homemade punch and ice creams as well as other Trini sweets! If we’re back in the area in the future we’ll be making it a priority to stop here again“

“If you visit Fort Lauderdale or if you live anywhere in South Florida, you have to visit Cafe Aruba. They have the greatest food, the best drinks, fabulous servers and great music and it's RIGHT ON THE BEACH!!! Come for the Happy Hour and they stay and dance the night away. There are always cool locals and fun tourists. WOW! Can't say enough about this place.“

The service was great, they are very polite and the taste is consistent. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food, presentation and taste. Try to give the store life by playing music, or at least turn on the t.v. on. It's so quiet, i can hear the refrigerator running, as if I had bionic ears. I had the oxtail which was so different than any oxtail I’ve ever tasted. Paired with the light & fluffy rice & peas??? Literally heaven. I’m obsessed. I wish I had pictures but I scarfed it down so fast. Please keep in mind that this is a home business (I recommend delivery but if you’re picking up, it’ll be in an apartment complex) but the food was so good & the preparation was proven to be sanitary!
