“Ethos is a favorite of ours, the good is always terrific. Today's visit was extra special due to Sasha, our wonderful server. She anticipated our needs before we asked without being intrusive. Service was quick, and always with a smile. The service is always good, bet she was special.“

The food was incredibly flavorful and aromatic. The dishes were authentic and absolutely delicious.

We tried the hummus and pickled vegetables, the vegetable soup, savory lamb chops, beef & chicken shawarma, delectable desserts, and Turkish coffee to end the evening.

Our server, Ras, was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The manager came out and asked how our food was and offered us complimentary Turkish coffee.

*My only suggestion would be to bring the entrees out at the same time as one person at our table received her main course much earlier than the rest of us and was finished eating by the time we received the rest of our entrees.

“Firstly let me say we've eaten at Motek 5 times in Boca and once in Aventura so obviously we like it! Food and food service from the bar tenders was a 10 and front of the house was a ZERO! Arrived at 7 for a 7:30 hoping to eat early. Good thing we did because it took 22 minutes to check in. The bald host in the yellow suit was acting like it was social hour and wanted to tell everyone a story and chat a little. " 0 I lived in golden beach too...". Meanwhile, 30 people are in line. I eat out 4 nights a week and this NEVER happens. Not even the night before, on Valentine's Day, at Bice in Palm Beach! When I finally got to the desk to check in I asked how long past the reservation would the wait be and the host in the yellow suit snapped at me and said a long time. Ok that's rude! I said how long 2 hours, 1 hour, he snapped again "1 hour"! We found seats at the bar without telling the host and it's a good thing we did because they never came to find us and we never heard our name called. We were sitting 15 feet from the check-in stand at the outside bar. On our way out we told the hostess we ate and we wouldn't need a table and BTW you never called our name or texted us for the table. She says yes we did we called everyone's name. Well that's somewhat true because I saw her searching, and heard her calling names, but never ours! We told her that and she tried to argue the point so we just walked away. Go in the off season they are unprofessional, overwhelmed, and not ready for prime time on the front side!!“

You can tell the chef, Rolin, cares about the quality of the food because everything we ordered was beyond on point. “WOW! This was our second time at Candela. This time, we had my husband's birthday dinner there with about 7 people. The appetizers/tapas were beyond delicious. Would highly recommend the octopus, the yuca, the potatoes - the list goes on! Some advice - do not leave there without trying the paella - the best you've ever had! The chef/owner kept coming over to us and talking to us about the food - the servers, the staff, everyone was just wonderful. What an incredible, personal experience... cannot wait to go back.“

“We have been going to Uzzo for years and every time we come the food is great. We typically get two of the dips as an appetizer and split a main entree and leave happy and full. The staff is all very friendly and we feel welcomed every time.

“The owner is a real jerk, vaping as he prepares the food. I supposedly went in to train as a cashier, only to get overwhelmed by duties as the cashier, taking orders on the phone, packing take-outs, handling Door Dash, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, serving all the tables as a waitress for the whole place, cleaning them all up as a busperson, and bringing patio furniture outside. Good thing I didn't work at night or I'd have the added duties of also mopping the floors, cleaning the bathrooms as a janitor, and bringing in all the patio furniture. The owner calls it multi-tasking. I call it too cheap to hire more employees. It is insane to ask for so much from one person! As it is, he only pays minimum wage and all the credit card tips are kept by the owner himself! From here I have learned that I'll be leaving cash tips for wait staff in the future, since greedy owners like this feel they are entitled to keep all credit card tips. The place is a disgrace.“

“Beautiful restaurant, very special location at the ocean. Decor is beautiful. Firepits outside in the sand for those seeking a more casual get together for drinks. Elegant clientele. Food was excellent. We had hummus for appetizer at the bar, later we shared Caesar salad ( dressing was good, slightly excessive parmeggiano on top), warm seafood tower, was really excellent in terms of sauce and quality of seafood and great for sharing, we added rosemary potatoes later. The olive cake was to die for. Cocktails were good quality and quantity, well balanced. Service was very good. I would say personnel needs more training and somehow needs a bit more polish of a high end establishment. But everyone was friendly and our waiter was knowledgeable, which is a must for me. Outdoor patio is spectacular, may be lacking smaller tables for two? We among other couples occupied larger tables for 4. It left a very good impression on us. So yes, we will be back with guests and without. An excellent spot for a special occasion. Able to accommodate large groups from what I noticed.“
