“Although my wife and I have not yet had the chance to experience Sushi by Scratch, I felt compelled to leave a review because of the exceptional professionalism and kindness shown by their staff. I made a reservation for my wife and myself as a Christmas gift, something I was genuinely looking forward to. Unfortunately, due to my military lifestyle and unexpected deployment-related schedule changes, I had to move the reservation twice and ultimately cancel until I can lock in a more stable schedule.

Throughout the entire process, the team was incredibly polite, understanding, and professional. They helped me immediately every time I reached out and went above and beyond by fully refunding my deposit without hesitation. That level of customer service says a lot about the values of this restaurant.

I truly appreciate the respect and understanding shown toward my situation, and I’m very much looking forward to finally experiencing Sushi by Scratch with my wife once I’m back and able to plan properly. Based on the service alone, I have no doubt it will be worth the wait.”

“We had plans to go to a different restaurant and stumbled on Loretta and the Butcher - so glad we did. The food was terrific and the young lady who took care of us was great. My husband had the Milanese sandwich which was delicious, and I had the Ensalada Griega and it was very tasty. We are from Upstate New York and we enjoyed the outside service and decor. After dinner we were headed to the airport to return home and ended up leaving something, that was very special to our 12 year old, at the restaurant. The staff was so sweet and went out of their way to get it back to us. He (and we agree) said next time we are in Miami; we are definitely going to Loretta and the Butcher - 5 stars all across the board!”

“We came here totally by chance. Walked by and liked the interior, then checked Google Maps and saw the rating was very high, so we decided to come in. The restaurant was fully booked, but the staff was very kind and gave us a window-side high table.

The cocktails were very cute and also very good. We ordered the octopus as a starter and it was really impressive. Not like many places where octopus is just grilled. This one had a creamy sauce, good sides, and the cherry tomatoes matched it very well. Obviously they put a lot of details and effort into the dish.

We ordered the calamari pasta with shrimp. Each pasta roll was covered with sauce and seafood, and the texture was really good. We have been to many famous pasta restaurants before, but honestly this one was better than most of them. Very surprised.

We also had the pistachio millefoglie for dessert, recommended by our server Jack. It was delicious and looked very nice.

Shout out to our waiter, Jack L, who was very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this place and would come back again.”

“We ordered some flavoured latte and it was not as smooth as it was supposed to be. The food was okay ish. The salmon crossiant and tuna melt was good. However the texture of the crepe was very different than what we usually see. The vibe of this place was cute and cozy. People who love exploring cafes around can check this place out.”

“Wow! In Miami you don’t often get wonderful service and it’s not often you find restaurants doing the “right” thing but Sweetgreen in Coconut Grove really surprised me! I placed an online order at the Coral Cables location and drove to the Coconut Grove location on accident - I didn’t realize it under the manager told me they didn’t have my order. The manager, Jose, was so kind and asked me what I had and told me he’d take care of me considering I already paid for the order at the other location. He ensured I was happy with my order and really did the right thing!!

Parking in both Coral Gables and the Grove are difficult so he saved me time!!

The salad was also delicious but the story behind the kindness of the location makes it even better!”

“I had a fantastic experience last night! The service is top tier--Marco and the rest of the staff are kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. I had the best beef carpaccio ever--try it, they put a unique spin on the traditional dish--followed by the baby artichoke hearts and accompanied by an amazing Swiss Pinot Noir from Lucas Madonia. One of the best dinners I've had in a while and I'm frequently out. Highly recommend this quirky and cool restaurant!”

“This was our first time eating here in Grapevine Texas location. My husband and I had a Caesar salad and a meat lovers pizza. The Caesar salad was huge and we took home half of it. The pizza is crispy and fresh out of the oven. It was a great meal. We had a friendly and knowledgeable, waitress named Kelsey. On the way out, we met the owner Luis. He was very friendly and took the time to talk about their restaurants and all the other locations they had. We will definitely be back.”

“My two sisters and I went in on a Thursday at 6:15 with no reservations. We were warmly welcomed at the host stand and told they could seat us at the bar. We asked the host who seated us what his favorite dishes are and he recommended the creamy polenta appetizer and the pork chop. We were then greeted at the bar by Maria who was friendly and extremely helpful. She recommended a few wines and dishes and we settled on the polenta appetizer, a salad to share then we shared the spaghetti pomodoro, the mushroom pasta and the pork chop. Everything was truly delicious and we would definitely return.”
