The owner Debra is one of the nicest and most genuine people you can ever meet. I can eat anywhere from the Hard Rock, Ft. Lauderdale to Miami Beach but I prefer to come here. I have been very lucky this have this great restaurant within walking distance. The waitress is always friendly and keeps everything moving smoothly. Your drink is never empty. I only wish they were open for dinner. But then again Debra and the stuff need the time to rest. And we should or at least I should. Take Debra to dinner for having such a wonderful place. And really this is the place where everyone knows your name.“

“Went on a Monday morning, the employees were all warm and greeted us kindly. Jodi was our server and recommended some great options. She was quick but never rushed us. Very New York (: amazing food and good space to have a good breakfast with your loved one. Must try the granola French toast and brisket and eggs.“

“We had the best dinner at a local Plantation restaurant - we highly recommend Burtons Grill & Bar! The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and accommodating and even the Manager came over to our table to thank us. I had a beautiful (large) salad topped with Thai steak and it was healthy and delicious. Ron almost always orders a burger and it was cooked perfectly with a large amount of awesome fries. The nice thing we liked about it, also, is that there is a lovely outdoor patio with fans and very comfortable. Our server was delightful, and we noticed that ALL of the servers were smiling and attentive to everyone! Oh, yes, we will be back!!“

The management team and staff are top notch. We took mom for her 78th bday and had an issue with our reservation. Ian and team went above and beyond and I mean way above and beyond to rectify the issue. I felt like we were in a top notch county club with all of the staff taking care of us. J Alexander’s is the real deal company. They actually care about their guests. That’s hard to find nowadays. We will be back and continue to tell everybody about how phenomenal the management, service and of course the delicious always consistent food is.“

“We started with the guacamole which as always was delicious. The sweet potatoe chips that come with it are a must try. The west coast steak sandwich never disappoints. The kale slaw they put on it makes this sandwich hard to beat. Our friends had the chicken kebabs which are also fabulous and a nice size portion. My husband had the meatball which he loved. The only sort of negative thing is I would not go back on my birthday. Not that I need a free dessert but its a nice touch that they don't do. They did put a candle in the dessert we ordered but a small free scoop of ice cream or even a small dessert not on the menu goes a long way in my opinion.“

“Our waitress Chelsea was an absolute pleasure. She was very attentive and always had a smile on her face. (Colgate smile, love it!) I ordered the chicken mango salad and it was good but the chicken was a little on the dry side, however, the ingredients of everything together was terrific!
The ambiance was definitely on par. There was live music, evening Christmas lights, and a subtle breeze that made this place such a relaxing experience. We were a party of 3 and they seated us immediately on a Saturday night.
