“Fantastic food and service at this intimate restaurant. Jeremiah was our host and waiter and did an awesome job. We had the seabass and rib eye for entrees and they did not disappoint! The pork and beef egg roll appetizer were very good and enough to share. Please make sure to leave room for the freshly made doughnuts!“

“We had been looking forward to The Common Room opening and were excited to finally try it. We went on a Friday evening and it took a while for someone to come to our table to take our drink order, and then a little longer to take our food order. The drinks and food were good, and the space is beautiful with a nice ambiance. We came back another time and sat at the bar, where the service was great. The speakeasy is a really cool touch. Overall, a great addition to Hollywood and definitely worth checking out!“

“I pass by this place all the time and decided to finally try it out. I was pleasantly surprised. The interior is spacious. Clean, modern and comfortable. The service was attentive, kind and welcoming. I got the chips and salsa, burger and tacos. Food was cooked tastefully and came out timely. I would definitely recommend. Great for small and large parties.“

We’re not from this side of town, but here we are. We were hungry and looked up some places to eat. What better place to try than The Hen and The Hog, right? It did not disappoint.
The atmosphere felt like we were literally at the farm and food was fast, beautifully presented, and delicious!

“We stopped in on our way to the airport to go home to Iowa. The food was exceptional and the best meal we had while in Florida. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time, actually. It was our first experience with kosher food and the owner explained everything to us in detail. Highly recommend!“

“Had some time on my hands after dropping of my daughter for a function and looked for something to have some breakfast. What a treat it was to find Derrys family restaurant. To begin the service was awesome, as soon as you walk in you feel it in the air as you are greeted with a heartfelt good morning. The food was of the chain. Fryed snapper, potatoes, sunny side up eggs, and biscuits. When I say everything tasted awesome, I meant it. Whenever I am in the area again, I will certainly be back.......... Went back a second time, was just as good as the first time, 7 yrs previously.“

Vegetarian options: Not many places have a vegan menu so I was surprised when I seen the vegetarian options“

“I'm unable to express how much you have to try this restaurant! My wife and I were greeted and served by Sue. There were only 2 waitresses for the tables, the bar and the multitude of to-go orders. I had the sausage peppers and onions without the pasta, since I am celiac ,and the cauliflower pizza crust with pep and saus.. Simply amazing! My wife had regular specialty pizza and tiramisu for desert. Exceptional service and the food phenominal! A must try if anywhere near Hollywood!“

“I go to nyc pretty often and something that I have up there that, until now, I couldn't was Chinese fried chicken. I'm so happy that this is a thing near me now and that is pretty easy to get. I went in and ordered in the kiosk they had, and it was maybe a 15-20 min wait before the food was ready. I got 2 chicken thigh sandwiches, an 8 piece bucket, and a beef with broccoli and a house lo mein and it was all delicious! It all came out to ~$45 which fed about 4 people. I will warn that the spicy option is pretty spicy.“
