“Had an amazing late lunch at News Cafe. It was just the thing to start off my Miami trip! Had the Chicken Paillard which came in a very generous portion with roasted potatoes and an arugula salad and it was super tasty and fresh. Shout out to my server Paula who was friendly, attentive, and personable!“

“Truly remarkable. We enjoyed the 9-course tasting menu with the wine pairing and waygu enhancement, putting dinner at $375pp including tax and tip. Worth every penny. Our primary server, Gabriela, was fantastic although several other staff members delivered our dishes, including both managers and a member of the chef’s team. I enjoyed the variance as it allows one to meet several members of the staff. Of the nine wines there was one I didn’t care for so, when asked how I liked it and said, “not so much” it was immediately replaced with a choice between two fine wines. It’s in these moments you understand the staff are true professionals providing the best dining experience possible. Gabriela, or Gaby as she prefers to be called, is a true professional The only marks against is the dress code. One gentleman at the bar was in a T-shirt and a baseball cap. Later two gentleman sat at a high top near the door, both in baseball caps. Also, the bartender was wearing a tank-top with the back cutout, something one would expect at a beach bar. The stark contrast between she and the very smartly dressed manager, Jonathan Smith, in a suit and tie, was noticeable. I’m old school dining with my 94 year old father who is really old school so my critique of attire when we’re only here for dinner may seem displaced. My apologies. For anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience in Miami Beach I highly recommend Stubborn Seed. You will leave full and an experience you’ll remember forever“

“One of my favorite restaurants in Miami! So many yummy dishes! The lamb and the cornbread are delicious appetizers. For the main entree, I recommend the pepper pot. The drinks are pricey but good. The Marqueta is refreshing, I recommend it if you're a tequila fan.

I returned 3 years later to find the pepper pot is no longer on the menu. Please bring it back! I had the oxtail mac & cheese, which was phenomenal. The drink service was slow, though and they were out of a number of items for the cocktails.“

“Firsy things first, This restaurant is now called Celias. We were looking for Biscayne Tavern and walked right past it twice lol. Went inside the hotel and they let us know we were in the right spot and that the name had changed. The food was very tasty and served hot. The Mahi Mahi sandwich was seasoned perfectly and the cilantro sauce was delicious. We had a few drinks that were also delicious. Overall its a nice place, decorated beautifully with tropical colors and accents.“

“My wife and I chose Giselle Miami to celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary on May 15th, and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hostess warmly greeted us and escorted us upstairs. The rooftop atmosphere was stunning — beautiful Miami skyline views, a perfect breeze, open-air vibes, and a live DJ playing smooth house music that set the perfect mood.
We were incredibly fortunate to have Valentino and Jorge take care of us. From the very first greeting until the end of the night, they were absolutely outstanding. Their service went far beyond expectations — they were attentive, knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary special. They guided us through the menu with excellent recommendations, checked on us constantly, and made sure every detail was perfect. Valentino and Jorge truly turned our evening into a memorable, unforgettable experience. Their exceptional care and attention to detail are the main reason we’ll be returning to Giselle on our next trip to Miami.
The food was fantastic as well. We enjoyed short rib skewers, wagyu dumplings, and salmon & caviar crispy rice to start. For mains, Valentino recommended the Flaming Lobster Thermidor and Skirt Steak — both were incredible. We also loved the truffle fries, broccolini, and pistachio baby carrots. My wife had the Porn Star Martini, I enjoyed the Mystic Jade and Timeless Old Fashioned, and we finished with the delicious Coming Up Roses and Giselle’s Pearls for dessert.
If you’re looking for an unforgettable rooftop dining experience in Miami, definitely make a reservation at Giselle and ask for Valentino and Jorge. They are the best!“

“Jodi provided outstanding service during our visit. Even though the restaurant was clearly short-staffed, she remained attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire meal. She stayed on top of everything, checked in regularly, and kept a positive attitude despite how busy she was. It's not easy to deliver great service under those circumstances, but Jodi went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. “Me and my siblings came from NY to visit Florida. We have eaten in plenty places in Miami, but honestly our server Barry set the bar real high, he was the highlight of out trip! “I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“

“Everything about the restaurant was great. Our server Jaslyn was very attentive and ensured we got our meals exactly how we wanted them. The allowed us to change our sides with the bay back ribs which were really delicious. When we were leaving one of my friends accidentally dropped her passport and we were travelling early the next day. The restaurant called us and notified us and we were able to return and retrieve it. That saved us a lot of anxiety and stress. Overall a great experience and we will definitely return again.“

“Came here for happy hour and had a wonderful experience! We wanted a cool spot to watch some playoff hockey, and the staff was super helpful with getting us situated. Our server Radick/Reddick (sorry we didn’t fully catch it) was super sweet attentive. The oysters were phenomenal, and the parm truffle fries were some of the best we’ve had. Delicious drinks too, and the atmosphere was super inviting. We will definitely be back on our next trip“
