“I was working at a construction jobsite paving a parking lot and my boss brought food from here once. Every since I tried it, I've gone back every single day. I never get tired of the food here. El Rapido is run by two people and they absolutely slay every single plate they make.
As a son of Cuban parents, I get white rice, black beans, chicken breast with onions, and plátano maduro. I've never been a person that likes onions but almighty God himself must've instilled the gift of cooking into the man that makes this food cause holy hell I even eat the onions. I'm gonna miss this place when my jobsite is eventually completed, but who knows maybe I'll make the drive up here from Hialeah just to try the food.
Absolutely, 100% PLEASE give these fine people's food a try. If you're Cuban, this will remind you of home. If you're not Cuban and want to try Cuban food, THIS is the place you need to hit up. $10 a plate and you get a lot of food.
These two are the kindest couple I've ever seen run a restaurant. It's like that mom and pop shop type vibe you see in a movie like In the Heights. I just met these people but if anything were to happen to them I'm pretty sure I'd hurt someone.“

“Truly remarkable. We enjoyed the 9-course tasting menu with the wine pairing and waygu enhancement, putting dinner at $375pp including tax and tip. Worth every penny. Our primary server, Gabriela, was fantastic although several other staff members delivered our dishes, including both managers and a member of the chef’s team. I enjoyed the variance as it allows one to meet several members of the staff. Of the nine wines there was one I didn’t care for so, when asked how I liked it and said, “not so much” it was immediately replaced with a choice between two fine wines. It’s in these moments you understand the staff are true professionals providing the best dining experience possible. Gabriela, or Gaby as she prefers to be called, is a true professional The only marks against is the dress code. One gentleman at the bar was in a T-shirt and a baseball cap. Later two gentleman sat at a high top near the door, both in baseball caps. Also, the bartender was wearing a tank-top with the back cutout, something one would expect at a beach bar. The stark contrast between she and the very smartly dressed manager, Jonathan Smith, in a suit and tie, was noticeable. I’m old school dining with my 94 year old father who is really old school so my critique of attire when we’re only here for dinner may seem displaced. My apologies. For anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience in Miami Beach I highly recommend Stubborn Seed. You will leave full and an experience you’ll remember forever“

“I had heard about this hot restaurant from New York that I must try, but was reticent to do so because Carbone was the name of a character from Goodfellas that Robert Deniro's Jimmy Conway whacked when tying up loose ends after the Lufthansa job! Poor sap was hanging frozen in a meat locker. I'm glad I put that imagery aside because this place was amazing! Platitudes like wonderful ambience, fine service, flavorful food, great family style dining, are all applicable but just don't capture the full spirit of the evening. From the pickled cauliflower, to the signature spicy rigatoni ala vodka (which pairs nicely with their pinot noir offering Presqu'ile), to the Caesar salad (you must have those croutons!), and their delicious Italian petit-fours, everything burst with flavor and was resplendent of the authenticity of old Venice. And since you will be spending more than a few pennies here, one must luxuriate in the mid century environs replete with Murano glass chandeliers while being serenaded with a sound track of Italian crooners like Mel Torme and Frank Sinatra in the full bela canta tradition. If you have a special occasion, Carbones Miami Beach will make for a memorable evening.“

“Had a really good experience here. The food was excellent, and the drinks were great as well. I tried the chicken kabobs, and they ended up being one of my favorite things I ordered. The staff was also very attentive throughout the visit, which made everything more enjoyable. There’s honestly not much to say other than the food and drinks speak for themselves. “We just left North South Grill after having visited there for the first time. It's Saturday night December 13th, 2025. Never having before ever experienced a Smashburger in any form, that is what I ordered. I ordered the double blue cheese Smashburger and man oh man! That has got to be one of the tastiest Burgers that has ever passed between my lips in all my 65 years of walking this planet. The fries were equally as impressive. I met Kat and Terry the owners, both real nice people so if you are in the mood for an amazing burger, you owe it to yourself to come on out. My son ordered a large steak sub and was equally impressed.“
