“Nice sports bar & billiards room. This is a nice place I feel because most people are regulars and respect one another..! The food is always fresh. I have tried steak sandwiche, chicken wings and shimp and tostones! Very tasty and made pretty quick. What I like mostly about this place is it's combination for bar,/ dance floor/ pool table setup with many TVs for sports. Music is upon request. Mostly Latin music but I have seen then cater to every demographic according to request by customers. They are open till 5am sat and Sunday and continue to serve beers ect to its customers up until closing. Each individual coming into the Place is checked for weapons . Patrons are carded if individuals look underage or in question. I recall this place definitely if you enjoy playing pool and watching sports.“

“PRISCILLA! The BEST waitress I have ever had. I was shocked that competent and friendly waitresses exist after having bad experiences eating out, as of late, with other waitresses. She waited on our table and it was a group of 20 with about 10 eight year-old children. She was friendly to all of us and really connected with all the adult guests at the table. Plus, her customer service was 10/10. Each time I go back to Miami Lakes Ale House, I am asking for her. Also, the manager on staff and other waitress were so accommodating to the kids, even hanging a “Happy Birthday” banner for us, singing “Happy Birthday” and giving each of the children lollipops. “Good service. However, the outside area is too crowded. In my opinion the tables are too close together. The main thing is that as many guests as possible can be served. This reduces the quality of dinner. Pasta with cheese cream sauce is not recommended. Very bland.“

“The food was good overall, best BBQ chicken I’ve had but didn’t care much for the coleslaw or baked beans. Corn bread muffins were great too. A margarita, a Washington Apple, and a double tequila with cran, pineapple juice, grenadine, and triple sec; they were GOOD!!! Live music on Fridays and a packed house but not shoulder to shoulder packed. Security was all in my phone thinking I was recording at the bar, but it was on photo mode. Nosey need glasses!!! You can not video the bar, but you can video the live band. Overall it's a nice bar with reasonably priced drinks. Food is available as well with free food after 12am on Fridays. The free food was pretty good, pasta with meatballs and rice. There's a raffle as well $3 for 5 tickets or $5 for 10.“

After a few drinks we usually grab some fries and the wings which are THE BEST thing to grab off their menu. The price point of the drinks and the food is not bank breaking which is a big selling point for a dive bar. “A typical dive sports bar with good bar food. They are known for their chicken wings and their medium hot wings did not disappoint. They were hot, crunchy and tasty. We also tried the chicken quesadillas and were not disappointed. I also noticed a couple ladies that were really enjoying the Twin Maine Lobster Special. We could have had an earthquake and it wouldn’t have distracted them ?. The menu was extensive enough that you could be there regularly and not be bored. Service wasn’t anything special but the bartender was great when you got her attention. Atmosphere is typical of a dive bar. I would return for the food.“

“Came in during a bachelor party trip, this past Sunday with a party of 12ppl. The restaurant atmosphere is awesome inside and out. Nice views of the canal, trendy modern interior. The meal deals and some other specials aren't in the regular menus but are in the small white binder on your table.They also print on your receipt a coupon for their liquor store just south of the restaurant across 95th Street.They have seating inside and outside of the restaurant. If the restaurant is busy, you'll have to wait in the front of the restaurant for a table, though you can join the waiting list while you're on the way there.Parking: Has paid parking on Harding Avenue in front of the restaurant and in the parking lot in the back of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Has a video arcade room.“

“Your place on 163 st and US 1 is great. Our server EVAN was unbelievable with his serve knowledge of menu and giving suggestions that worked out perfect. We really enjoyed his suggestions which we had for dinner. Our food was brought out so quickly and he watched his tables at all times. Best service we have had in long time. We could tell that the manager BOB was everywhere checking the table to see all was well. We have been going there since it was built. Think it's the greatest now. “This place was fantastic, stopped in for a bite to eat while on vacation and was pleasantly surprised as I despise bars typically. This place was packed but not overly noisy. Our water Larry was a genuine dude, the drinks he suggested were fantastic and the food was great. You gotta try the smothered fries! They have no business being so good. The mahi mahi sandwich was great (fish maybe a lil dry but seasoned great). The wife and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. If I ever catch myself in this part of Miami again I'll have to swing on by to old toms!“

“This visit was unacceptable. We were a party of 7 on a Wednesday night after an event. Was given a booth for all of us , which we didn't fit. Had to request a chair and put it in the aisle. Waited approximately 15-20 minutes, and no one would come to attend us. Had to flag someone down to get to attend our table. 30 minutes after we sat down, we finally had a waitress. We asked her if we could get the booth next to ours to spread out. She had to get permission, and that took another 10-15 minutes, and still we haven't ordered. Overall, it took 3 hours for a 1-1 1/2 hour visit. Not happy with the service that evening.“

“Great place to chill out playing pool. Staff were very inviting and extremely helpful. All tables were taken bar one that had no light over it. The manager quickly installed a light over it so we could play. all the tables in the hall were high standard. we had food which was really good. “So impressed. Like, rarely impressed but this place was amazing. We dropped our son off for a football game at Doral Meadows, two hours before his game. Decided we would go somewhere for a cocktail and dinner, then return to see the game start. After looking at all the options on yelp, we opted for this place. We saw some folks on the patio. I walked in with my wife and my 10 year old son. The staff was super friendly, but told us that they had an event starting soon and could only seat us outside. It was hot so we thanked them and left. Right before our feet hit the parking lot, Carlos came out and stopped us. "Hey, are you just here for dinner? Please, come inside. The event starts at 8, so you have time to eat." Awesome. Inside, the restaurant impressed. Beautiful decor, a high end direct view display, electro voice speakers (I'm an audio/video nerd). The menu was full of great looking stuff, from ribs and burgers to kalamari and chicharrón. My son ordered a kid's ribeye and mashed potatoes- his favorites. My wife and I ordered an espresso martini and a margarita, and opted to try three appetizers instead of an entree. We got the burrata, the chicharrones, and the shrimp ceviche. First, my wife loved the margarita. It's her go-to on date nights, so she was happy. Second, I'm not lying when I say this was the best espresso martini I have ever had. I order them very regularly, and am very picky. This was not too sweet, not too tart, and extra shaken so it was ice cold and foamy. Absolutely delicious. The chicharrones were really good. Awesome snack. The burrata was incredible. The ceviche was insanely good. I finished my kid's steak, and it was as good a ribeye as you would find in top notch steakhouses. From the kids menu. Awesome. We may even drive the 35 minutes away to experience this place again. Not only is the food great, but the staff is attentive and friendly. Great little spot.“
