She waited on our table and it was a group of 20 with about 10 eight year-old children. She was friendly to all of us and really connected with all the adult guests at the table. Plus, her customer service was 10/10. Each time I go back to Miami Lakes Ale House, I am asking for her. “So impressed. Like, rarely impressed but this place was amazing. We dropped our son off for a football game at Doral Meadows, two hours before his game. Decided we would go somewhere for a cocktail and dinner, then return to see the game start. After looking at all the options on yelp, we opted for this place. We saw some folks on the patio. I walked in with my wife and my 10 year old son. The staff was super friendly, but told us that they had an event starting soon and could only seat us outside. It was hot so we thanked them and left. Right before our feet hit the parking lot, Carlos came out and stopped us. "Hey, are you just here for dinner? Please, come inside. The event starts at 8, so you have time to eat." Awesome. Inside, the restaurant impressed. Beautiful decor, a high end direct view display, electro voice speakers (I'm an audio/video nerd). The menu was full of great looking stuff, from ribs and burgers to kalamari and chicharrón. My son ordered a kid's ribeye and mashed potatoes- his favorites. My wife and I ordered an espresso martini and a margarita, and opted to try three appetizers instead of an entree. We got the burrata, the chicharrones, and the shrimp ceviche. First, my wife loved the margarita. It's her go-to on date nights, so she was happy. Second, I'm not lying when I say this was the best espresso martini I have ever had. I order them very regularly, and am very picky. This was not too sweet, not too tart, and extra shaken so it was ice cold and foamy. Absolutely delicious. The chicharrones were really good. Awesome snack. The burrata was incredible. The ceviche was insanely good. I finished my kid's steak, and it was as good a ribeye as you would find in top notch steakhouses. From the kids menu. Awesome. We may even drive the 35 minutes away to experience this place again. Not only is the food great, but the staff is attentive and friendly. Great little spot.“

“On our trip to Miami we went to eat at Black Market Bayside which we really liked, it has an excellent location, a very good view of Bayside, attentive and friendly staff, prices within the ranges of the city, the food is very good, both the potatoes , like the picaña cut, the music programming was very good and they have a wide variety of screens to watch sports, the weather is spectacular. Only one detail was that they add a tip to the bill, which should be optional, well they do that in all the restaurants in Miami, but for everything else the stay at the restaurant was good. Lots of kids playing in the courtyard having a blast and my kids ran into some teammates from their soccer team, so while the adults ate, drank and conversed, the kids entertained themselves. The ambiance was typical sports bar with deferent football helmets and other sports memorabilia with TVs showing sports. Food is also typical sports bar food. We ordered hot dogs for the kids which they like and I tried a bite and it was great. We also ordered Tacos which are really good as well as the wings. Hot dog came with fries which I took some from my kids shhhh please don't tell. As far as drinks it's mainly beer which I'm really not a beer drinker but they had a large selection. I ordered hard cider which I was happy they had. There was also live music which was entertaining. Service was a bit slow but understandably because the place was packed and I feel like it was one or maybe two people serving so the poor guy was running around trying to keep us all happy. “We stopped by today for a couple of reasons. We needed a bottle of Casamigos tequila to take to a party this evening, and we wanted to see the new NBV location of Happy's Lounge and Liquor Store. I have heard for years that Happy's is a fun, casual, old school kind of bar that everyone has been to at least once. It is a neighborhood kind of bar where most of the patrons know each other. It has been around for years.It actually looks comfortable and welcoming inside. I took a few pics. They serve wine, beer, and cocktails. You can also get bar food like a Philly cheesecake that tastes really good. The menu is limited but has enough popular meals to make everyone happy!There is free parking in a large attached lot. They have outdoor dining on the patio. Smoking is allowed outside on the patio. There are other businesses around it. We plan to come back and have a Happy's experience.“

I was extremely disappointed when my meal came. Everything seemed to be on point. The ribs were fantastic, but when I tried the chicken. The meat was hard and seemed aged. I am a meat lover, and it's hard to get me to reject chicken ,ribs, or pork, but I have to say this was the worst chicken I've tried in years . I was able to avoid a situation like this for some time I guess. I believe this location doesn't really sell much of their half chicken orders, and the poultry was sitting for some time in the fridge. I was forced to just leave the half chicken and enjoy the rest of my visit. I did give a tip to the waitress because it was no fault of her own, and I didn't want to ruin the time I was having with my son. I will be back but will never attempt to get half a chicken. Be warned and save yourself the disappointment.“

“Came here for a light dinner after tooling around Bayside. I didn't give this restaurant 5 stars as it didn't have the great Margaritaville vibe that most of these restaurants do. It was kinda quiet! BUT, the food, as usual, was great. 4 of us split the volcano nachos and that worked just fine. Drinks were tasty and our guest picked some items up from the store. “I dined at Duffy’s for the first time today. I had the wings ( buffalo garlic), the tomato bisque, coleslaw and sweet potato fries. It was refreshing to actually get carrot sticks, celery, sticks, and a decent blue cheese dressing with my wings. The wings themselves were very tasty as was the tomato bisque, the coleslaw, of which I am a big fan. The fries were yummy and it was obvious that they were prepared properly in the correct oil temperature( 375-395 degrees, depending on the size of the batch). They were light and crispy. Aside from the food, the other highlight was the bartender Gabby, who provided excellent customer service. She was prompt, courteous, professional, and possessed a $1,000.000 smile?. I also met and had a nice conversation with some of the regulars. If you have not been to Duffy’s I urge you to experience it. I am looking forward to returning.“
