I can unwind and lose myself in the book I am reading while my husband involves himself in his writing. Furthermore, my back welcomes the comfortable easy chairs. “We landed early afternoon & headed straight to Café Bastille-Fort Lauderdale in Fort Lauderdale for brunch. I'd heard rave reviews about this spot & it exceeded expectations. We kicked off with a passionfruit margarita & a bacon bloody mary, both bursting with flavor. For our meal, we opted to share the truffle croque madame with a side salad & breakfast potatoes. The toast was wonderfully light & fluffy, & the potatoes had the perfect crunch. We couldn't leave without getting a NY pistachio croissant. The entire experience was enchanting. I'm already looking forward to our next visit before leaving Florida.“

“I was here and it’s beautiful. I ordered some macarons and they were absolutely delicious. You can watch the pastry chef knead and bake, which makes the experience even more special. The place itself is lovely, and there’s a Venezuelan girl unfortunately I don’t remember her name who makes exquisite coffee and is amazing at customer service.“

“Lamb braised shank was exquisite. Braised to perfection sautéed with special seasoning and added vegetables. Chilean Sea Bass - I don’t even know how to describe it - all I can say it was perfect!!! Definitely a restaurant I recommend with ten stars. The staff was inviting and the ambience incorporated with the wonderful old time music made me feel I was at my mothers dining table. Love this place! Oh yea. Don’t forget the dessert with a house made cappuccino… YUMMY. Set the mood right.“

“A sweet, cozy French restaurant with excellent food and friendly staff. The escargots are out of this world. Our waitress was outgoing and engaging; she explained the menu, chef's preparations and the wine list in detail. They offer 2 course, 3 course and an early bird special 3 course. Prices are very reasonable. The food was delicious. The ambiance was relaxed. We will definitely return.“
