“A wonderful way to witness the history and evolution of black art from galleries selling iconic works from legends to new masterpieces from rising starts, supporting Art Basel is highly recommended. I recommend downloading the Basel app, making a schedule, and fitting time in for black art activations all around the city from TONE at NADA to PRIZM. Miami was originally founded by a wise woman, a railroad man, and a real-estate man Dana Albert Dorsey who was black and black stars are making people flock to the city still to this day. Magic ✧“

“We had such a wonderful experience celebrating my friend’s birthday here, and I truly can’t say enough about how amazing Jayce and Nemanja were! From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure my friend felt celebrated and that the entire evening was special.

They were both incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely kind. You could tell that they weren’t just doing their jobs—they truly cared about making sure we were having a great time. They made us feel so welcomed and taken care of throughout the entire meal, and their energy made the celebration even more memorable.

Birthdays are those special moments where you want everything to feel a little extra, and Jayce and Nemanja really helped create that feeling for us. They were thoughtful, patient, and made sure we had everything we needed. Their service was honestly one of the highlights of our night.

“Last night I celebrated my birthday at Bouchon Bistro, one of my favorites in the Gables. I've been here countless times for happy hour and dinner, and even celebrated an anniversary here a few years ago, but last night was so very special.

Huge thank you to Natalie for helping organize everything, to our wonderful waitress Wendy, and to the entire team who made the evening feel so easy, warm and magical. The service was outstanding, the food was incredible as always, and the whole space has that perfect elegant but laid-back vibe.

Definitely one of the best spots in the Gables. Highly recommend.“

“We walked there in the evening and had a reservation which we booked about an hour before we arrived. The food and service were excellent, our waiter was very helpful and our drinks arrived quickly. It had a real feel of a french establishment and we started with a couple glasses of Sancerre. The flavor of the french onion soup was extremely well balanced and I highly recommend their pepper steak (au poivre) which is done with filet mignon. The cook on the steak was exactly what I asked for and you can tell the chef is precise and confident with all of the dishes. The atmosphere was pleasantly subdued, dim and had its own flair, you can tell the reason this place has been around so long is because they have a reputation for success. I think either the manager or the owner stopped by our table to check in on us as well, which we appreciated. We ordered their prawn special and my wife was thrilled with how it came out. I want to go back for some escargot and try their other dishes sometime.

The husband-and-wife owners are incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming—such a sweet French couple who make every visit feel special. I had the croque madame with smoked salmon, along with their coffee and café au lait, and everything was absolutely delicious. I also brought pastries home for my family, and they were such a hit that I had to come back for more. As someone who is French—and very picky—I can honestly say this place feels like my little corner of France. I live an hour away, but it’s worth every mile, and I’ll definitely be back often. “We had a wonderful experience at Maison Ostrow. The service from Eyal was excellent , very attentive and really made us feel taken care of. The decor is truly out of the ordinary, with so much character and attention to detail. The whole atmosphere really makes you feel like you’ve stepped into France.

The french baguette was amazing, and we especially enjoyed the zaatar butter, beef carpaccio with truffle, steak frites, and lemon mousse with meringue. Everything was delicious and beautifully done. We really enjoyed our evening and would definitely come back! Compliments to the chef.“

“Such a beautiful restaurant and such a lovely experience! The atmosphere at Claudie is absolutely stunning — elegant, stylish, and with a great Miami vibe. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and everything we ordered was really enjoyable.

Our server was wonderful and really attentive. We especially appreciated how well they listened to our preferences when it came to drinks and recommended options that matched our tastes perfectly. It made the experience feel much more personal and thoughtful.

“felt like a cafe in barcelona. the food was absolutely delicious and would order again. split a le frenchie burger and the meat was cooked perfectly and the toppings were delicious too. the avocado toast had a fresh taste of high quality and came w fries. their truffle fries were simply delicious but they had a $6 upcharge which i didn’t know about. it would be around $20 per person if we knew abt that. there is an included service fee. overall would go again and very high quality and doesn’t feel like mall food.“

“Lamb braised shank was exquisite. Braised to perfection sautéed with special seasoning and added vegetables. Chilean Sea Bass - I don’t even know how to describe it - all I can say it was perfect!!! Definitely a restaurant I recommend with ten stars. The staff was inviting and the ambience incorporated with the wonderful old time music made me feel I was at my mothers dining table. Love this place! Oh yea. Don’t forget the dessert with a house made cappuccino… YUMMY. Set the mood right.“
