“First time at this place; the restaurant was clean, the food was outstanding, and the waiter (Brandon) was very attentive. Then again, there were only two or three other tables seated. Awkward ambiance for the first five+/- minutes because there was no music playing and the TVs were off. Finally, the music came on and the dining experience improved ten-fold. Meanwhile, the TVs were never turned on. Not a big deal, in fact... might even be cool to have a place with no TVs, where people are forced to interact with one another. But I digress, if you choose to have televisions in your establishment, keep them on; there's a lot you can do with them, not just have it on TV programming. Anyways, this place is absolutely fantastic and has the potential to be one of the area's best restaurants. I'll definitely be back!“

The food is excellent, it’s a family owned and operated business, you can tell they care and they’re very real people. The mom’s demeanor when dealing with trouble customers reminds me a lot of the tattoo shops I’ve worked in, they are not a chain so they don’t have to suffer stupidity. I don’t think anything there is cooked off site, bread nor pastries. I’ve never had a less than perfect meal there. The daughter, who is only there part time now is charming, welcoming and among the most beautiful people I’ve ever laid eyes on. Oh! The prices. Not bad at all. Not dirt cheap as Cuban food goes, but definitely affordable. Places like this don’t seem to exist much outside of Little Havana, the Caribbean and Central America. “The food is made fresh, and the flavors are fantastic! All of their sauces are scratch made. I highly the tangy gold sauce-- it's the perfect mix of sweet, mustard savory, smoke, and a touch of heat. The spicy chicken sandwich was phenomenal. Personally, I'd prefer it with a single chicken breast instead of the two tenders, but the tenders work and were perfectly breaded (not overly breaded) and cooked tender & juicy inside. My fiancé got the Cachapa, and my suegra got the salad with both the chicken and beef. The chicken and beef were popping with flavor and were tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The Cachapa was oozing with cheese, and the corn meal they used was top quality.

Service was friendly & professional.

“I was invited to this café by a very good friend of mine. It's a small place with a total of five tables to sit.The empanadas are amazing and the place stays crowded which makes it hard to eat there. Service is not their strength our order was wrong and we had to stand in line again to place a new order. I took empanadas home to my mother and it was supposed to be a special order with no beans for health reasons and she couldn't enjoy her empanadas because it had beans. That's why the 4 stars. I thought about giving them 3 stars but the empanadas were yummy!!“
