He mentioned that, and rather than just say grap a menu, she kindly went over the menu and gave suggestions. This place is so clean I have never gone into a KFC Taco Bell out here and everyone and everything is dressed decently, ladies are dressed for work and not to party, young men pants pulled up, under the counter is shining clean and stacked neatly. I didn't see the rest room but the front of the house spoke for itself. The manager is a very nice young man you can tell he runs a tight shift he greets you with a smile. “My brother's and I visited Rocco's for lunch and had an excellent experience.

The overall layout was very welcoming and the staff made us feel right at home.

Most places I get table side guacamole I feel as if the ingredients haven't had enough time to marinate, but here the seasonings made it perfect and it had a lot of good flavor.

We ordered the burrito bowl, tacos, and quesadilla all of which came out great. Especially the chorizo tacos. Those we a a favorite by far.

The bar tender was kind enough to put together a unique flight of tequila for us to try as well. We all enjoyed it and had a chance to try something new.

The manager stopped by one or two times to make sure everything was good and that we were happy and our waitress was very attentive and checked on our table often.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rocco's. The establishment was clean, well ran, with great service, good tequila, and awesome food!“

“called the restaurant to place an order for 15 tacos, and they were super nice on the phone. When I arrived, everything was perfectly separated, and they included plenty of sauces. They even surprised me with a complimentary quesadilla, which was very, very good! When i opened up another bag they also gave ME FREE NACHOS! “We live really close to this little gem, always wanted to try it and FINALLY made it there for lunch today. What a huge loss that we waited so long! Their food is so good. I ordered the 2 carna asada taco lunch special which came with beans and rice. My husband ordered the carnita taco lunch special. The meat was so flavorful and juicy. The rice was fluffy, the beans were topped with melted cheese. We ordered a side of chips and salsa. The chips were warm, crunchy and seemed freshly made. Absolutely amazing lunch.... For the food, we ordered:

Fajitas for 1 and fajitas for 2: veryyyy generous amount of food, my husband ordered the one for 1 and was able to take home leftovers for the other day. Same with the one for two, I would say you can either take home some or eat 3, the only thing is that you would have to ask for more tortillas. 5/5

Birria tacos: comes with 4, very generous amount, also comes with the consome so you can dip it, so good😍 5/5

GuacaTacos tacos: comes with 3, we ordered to pastor and one carnitas on soft taco, they were good too. 4/5

Chimichanga: sooo crunchy, very nice, also good portion for one person, my abuela took some home too!

Margaritas: they were normal honestly, simple ones nothing out of the ordinary.

The service was good, the server was so nice and explaining everything, only thing was a little delayed on bringing the food out, the plates were ready sitting there for a while, I had to ask to get one warm again, because the ladies were just on their phone, while the guy was doing drinks and serving other people.

Either than that, everything else was very good.

Also for the prices if you are drinking it gets a little price, we pay like $40 per person only one drink each.“

I recently visited CT Cantina at Dania Pointe and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and fun—the vibe and music on Friday night were energetic (a bit loud, but part of the lively ambiance). Service was spot-on: fast, attentive, and our drinks were refilled promptly without having to ask.

What stood out:

The salsa game is strong—super flavorful and authentic. The only downside: the bright red overhead lights made it impossible to distinguish which salsa was which, since they all looked red.

Fresh chips and multiple dips were a treat—though I found them slightly oily, they still had great crunch and taste.

Tacos were solid but had some quirks: the flour tortillas were surprisingly thick, and they shrunk in size compared to past visits. The chicken felt a touch too salty and a bit dry. Still, flavors were enjoyable overall.

On the downside, there was no dessert station anymore—apparently your favorite dessert has been removed. That was a bummer, especially since you used to love it.

Summary:
CT Cantina & Taqueria delivers great ambiance, helpful staff, fast service, and excellent salsas and chips. While the tortilla texture and smaller portions with slightly salty chicken dragged the experience down a bit—and losing the dessert option was disappointing—it’s still worth a visit. Hoping they bring back that dessert station soon!

“The food at El Guanaco is the best hands down. I refer people all the time for food . We have been going a few years but not much the last few months due to the service. Sometimes you can put up with mediocre service because the food is so good . But today was the second time service was subpar… Today we waited 20 minutes and still no order taken ….There was another table with no beverages that was sat before us . We decided to leave and offered to pay for the beverages and chips but they would not let us pay . The cashier said she could take our order but we already had waited and decided it was best to just go ahead and leave …On the way out there were 3 vacant tables inside ….If we eat El Guanico in the future we will order to go because the service is just not there anymore. The food is the best but not going back anytime soon to dine in …Food 5 ⭐️ service 3⭐️…..“

“Atmosphere: great, the soft dim lighting and comfortable chairs were great. I only wish spacing between the tables was a little wider, but it’s south florida, so I get it. Space can be hard to come by. They had live music too which was a nice touch.

Service: staff was attentive and upbeat, everything came out on time without delay.

Food: this is the only part where the experience felt a little lacking. The food wasn’t bad, but for the price point and portions it definitely felt like there was something left to be desired. The drinks were great though.

Overall, I’d say 4 stars

I would recommend this place for a nice mid-to-upscale cocktail session with some small appetizers and latin music.

We called two days before to reserve two tables in front of the tv, they did it and we went with 5 more friends, we all had a great freaking night!
