I’d been meaning to try Babette Miami for quite some time, and their 3-course Taste the Gables menu felt like the perfect opportunity.
Both the interior and exterior have a classic European charm that suits the French cuisine beautifully. A beautiful find in Coral Gables, small, cozy, elegant restaurant. Daniel owner/chef and his wife Alex made us feel like family on our first visit there. Daniel is very creative due to his extensive experience throughout the culinary capitals of the world. Belen our server was excellent.
The steak and fries were so good! I found the beef cheek to be really on the salty side but the meat was very tender. It was a little pricey for what it was. The wine selection was good and service with our waitress Belen was amazing!

Babette Miami is an outstanding and unforgettable restaurant, perfect for celebrating special occasions like anniversaries and birthdays. The experience is better than having a private chef, meriting high praise. The food is amazing, delicious, good, fresh, vibrant, and memorable, with dishes like the duck and venison noted as delicious. Chef Dani’s creativity shines in every purposeful and balanced dish.
The ambiance is warm, inviting, elegant without being pretentious, comfortable yet refined, intimate, and beautiful, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The upstairs lounge is a fun and cute option for after-dinner drinks. Service is great and perfect, with staff treating guests like royalty and being very accommodating and responsive, going above and beyond. While not cheap, the experience is worth every dollar, with surprisingly reasonable mark-ups on items like wine. Babette makes a special night feel truly special.
