“For my first time here, I really enjoyed the vibe and mood of the restaurant. The waitresses were really helpful, kind, and overall friendly. The food was really really great and worth it. The proportions were perfect.“

“Absolutely incredible—I don’t even know where to start! I came in Friday for lunch with two colleagues, and we were all blown away. The service, the food, and even the prices are unmatched—almost too good to be true.
I ordered the Black Tonkatsu, which was marvelous. The egg was perfectly soft and yolky, just how I love it. I also tried the gyoza (good, though nothing special), but the spicy mayo onigiri was remarkable. One bite and I felt transported back to a chilly Friday night in a little alleyway in Japan—pure nostalgia. This food is authentic, and it shows.
They even offer shaved ice! Sadly, I didn’t have the space (or time) to try it this visit, but there will definitely be a next time, and I’ll be saving room.
The vibe and aesthetic of the restaurant are small, cozy, and authentically Japanese. Service was just as outstanding—Marco was fantastic and made the experience even better.

“Amazing service and great food! Came here for the first time and thought I ordered a small tea, which they then delivered. They rushed over soon and told me I had paid for a regular size. I told them it was fine and I would keep the small, but they brought over the next drink anyway! My friends took my extra tea and we all had a wonderful meal. Food was super fast and well cooked. Wonderful staff. Come in, especially late at night!“

Tonkatsu broth was very good. Can tell it has been cooked properly for a long time: deep, fatty-rich, and pork-y. Egg noodles were cooked nicely and were tasty & lightly chewy. Egg was very nice. Plenty of scallions. Food came out in 2 minutes.

Broth was warm, but not hot. Pork belly lacked a bit of flavor or prep and was lukewarm.

Service was great. The man working tonight was super friendly and attentive.

Bonus point for Mortal Kombat being on the bar’s tv. Never seen it, but boy did it look retro!“

“This spot is a must visit if you're looking for authentic ramen. The broth is incredible with rich and deep flavors that makes it balanced. Pork was tender and full of flavor. It works so well with the broth and as the noodles sit in the broth, it just abosrbs the broth like a sponge, each bite being more and more flavorful.

The staff was extremely friendly and nice, although they had a long line, they were efficient and didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for it to come out!“

“I'm surprised this place isn't always packed. The sushi is so good and fresh and I have yet to have a bad dish. We went as a family with my 2 children and husband and everyone enjoyed it. The service is always exceptional and the atmosphere is great. It's not loud and we can actually talk to one another. The manager is always there. No matter when I go, he is working and ensuring everything is up to their standard. It has become my new favorite.“

“Very creative! The broth is very good with lots of delicious bits of different meat and seafood garnished with clever dumplings with things like tasty fish eggs inside. I also had shrimp and mussels in mine. Pretty knots of bright green seaweed was in mine and big thick noodles. The little fish cakes were really flavorful! They went the extra mile and hard cooked my egg as I don't like soft eggs. This was such a treat at a very affordable price of average $22 for a big bowl that will have plenty of left overs. I really loved this hot pot and can't wait to try the others!“
