“Stopped by after a trip to the Everglades to get lunch, and it was DELICIOUS! Service so incredible, and they even gave us some baklava to taste at the end. Drinks (lebonese lemonade and rose water and pistachio yogurt smoothie) were yummy, too.

“This hidden gem serves some of the most delicious Mediterranian-style cuisine I have ever had. My SO and I split a Halloumi cheese appetizer, which was recommended by the chef/owner Aysar. The presentation and the taste were top-notch. Next, I ordered the mixed grill for 1, which came with 3 different kabobs (chicken, lamb, and kafta ground beef), a generous portion of rice, a roasted tomato and a small side salad. The food was delicious and the portions were huge.

The service staff are all incredibly kind and helpful. The menu accommodates dietary restrictions and has plenty of options for vegetarians and those with dairy and gluten intolerances. Chef/owner Aysar is a kind man who successfully ensures that patrons leave with their bellies full and a smile on their face.

The food was incredibly flavorful and aromatic. The dishes were authentic and absolutely delicious.

We tried the hummus and pickled vegetables, the vegetable soup, savory lamb chops, beef & chicken shawarma, delectable desserts, and Turkish coffee to end the evening.

Our server, Ras, was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The manager came out and asked how our food was and offered us complimentary Turkish coffee.

*My only suggestion would be to bring the entrees out at the same time as one person at our table received her main course much earlier than the rest of us and was finished eating by the time we received the rest of our entrees.

“We stay at the Westin Fort Lauderdale hotel and this is their main restaurant. We went for a quiet dinner today and we have been quite satisfied with the service and the food. They are really trying to be kind to us and you can almost feel a family type of business even though it’s part of a chain... We only took the BLT sandwich since we were not that hungry. The food was really good and their prices are very acceptable for a hotel restaurant.“

They have a very tight operation because there’s only two of them. They’re serving a lot of people because obviously their food is so popular.Gyros are savory and authentic. Their fried foods (falafel and fries) capture how Greek food tastes when it’s real Mediterranean. Whenever I’m the area (or slightly outside), this is my place. Their gyro meat is top shelf; trust me, I’ve run through a lot of mediocre gyro meat to find out.“
