“I really enjoyed the juices and the whole self strengthening process. I am a gastric bypass patient from 2014 who needed help resetting my pouch. (I was eating too much at a time) I can now feel that I can only eat my small portions just as I used to after surgery. Being more self conscience over the choices of food I’m eating once again. My biggest fear when I received the juices was that I would not like them, the texture, taste etc… boy was I wrong, I loved them! I only drank what I could with in the 15 minutes you recommend. I will definitely be coming back for more and I highly recommend the three day detox to anyone thinking about doing their first juicing cleanse, you will quickly notice how your body starts thanking you!“

“Pura Vida is one of my favorite breakfast/lunch spots because the food is always fresh and tastes amazing. I just graduated from UM and during my time as a student I loved meeting my friends at this location in the middle of campus! The servers are friendly and service is usually pretty quick. The space is a little smaller than their other locations, so I will say the tables fill up pretty quickly during the week, but it's still a super cute atmosphere to do work/catch up with friends at. Also prices aren't cheap, but the quality of the drinks/food is very good. The menu is smaller at this location too, but still has all the essentials. Definitely recommend this location if you're a UM student/faculty member, or just someone who wants to see campus while getting some PV :)“

The owner is sometimes there and takes the time to acknowledge me by always saying hello, and has on a few occasions showed his gratitude with a small item at no charge , which maybe does not mean much in monetary terms, but it means a lot to me because it shows he appreciates my loyalty, which I also feel the from the staff. The bowls are always consistently delicious and Ive always received first class service. “A new favorite for our gelato-loving family. We tried several flavors and it's hard to choose! All of them were great. You can't go wrong with the Dulce de leche. The coconut is great, too. The lemon is so refreshing and the texture is meringue like, totally lovable.
They serve wafer cookies freshly made in store. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I wish I lived closer, I would become a regular. If you love Argentinian style gelato, you have to give this place a try. Parking (street and public garage) around the block.“

“Just moved to the neighborhood, pass by this place often decided to stop, on a Sunday after church and was pleased to the findings. It's a Latin fruit stand location with a cafeteria, but It is welcoming for us Americans. I got a ½ gallon jug of Guanbana juice for $10 now that's a bargain. I have bought drink at other place 1 cup $7, this is a bargain. I also bought a plate of food rice & peas, steak, and tostones $10, lots of food. Picked up some more fruits and other things. Prices not too steep, very reasonable. Place is clean and friendly too. They do speak Spanish bur willing to talk English just be patience.“
