“I had an amazing experience thanks to the incredible team — Samuel, Mauricio, and Casey. From the moment we walked in, they treated us with attention. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak (which was delicious), but what really stood out was the way the team went above and beyond for a customer in need.

An elderly man clearly wasn’t feeling well and was having trouble walking. Without hesitation, Mauricio stepped up and helped him with care and respect, even guiding him to the bathroom. What impressed me most was the way Mauricio showed leadership by getting the rest of the team involved to make sure the man was okay. It was a powerful moment of compassion and teamwork that you don’t see every day.

“I came to visit my home town of Miami. My husband is from Atlanta and he loves to try the different foods in Miami. So as soon as we land my heart felt this small momma and poppa shop in Kendall of 88 street, that felt so welcoming every time i went. Well they no longer owned the spot n my heart was sad. Well at least I thought until the younger version of momma n poppa shop open my eyes. The feeling felt so right, the smiles and hellos pulled me right in. The food was fresh, hot and ready. “Incredible food! Visiting here from Texas, so good we went back a second night for dinner! The gourmet sandwiches are a mile high and delicious, as was the roasted tomato basil soup, empanadas and a chicken rice fritter that was to die for. Eat here! You won’t be sorry!
