“Stopped at this downtown bakery for the first time yesterday for a snack and was pleasantly surprised. Michelle, the baker, cheerfully greeted us and explained the baked goods. We chose the strawberry cheesecake and a cannoli. Both were very good, especially the light, fluffy cheesecake. Already deciding what we will try on our next visit to Sugar & Slice.“

“My daughter had a last minute request (week in advance) for custom cookies for her graduation party (UCF cookies). They looked absolutely amazing and tasted wonderful. The day I went to pick up the cookies I also picked up a mini key lime pie, it too was perfect, not to sweet and not too tart. I will be making the drive from Winter Haven to Lake Wales when I need a custom item in the future, or for a pie. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Tammy was absolutely amazing! She made our sons cake a couple of weeks ago and it was beyond what we expected. She went above and beyond to research our sons favorite wrestler that he wanted as the logo for the cake and it turned out so good, he was so happy. To top it off,, it tasted fantastic!“

“Honeycomb Bread Bakers catered our company lunch today for 50 employees and we couldn't be happier. They were responsive and easy to work with. The food was delivered on time and the presentation was great. The food was so good! We had chicken salad croissants, turkey clubs, Italian wraps, pasta salad and a beautiful spring harvest salad with strawberries. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.“

“I'm the last person who needs to be eating at Cinnabon, however I couldn't resist. This Cinnabon location sits just inside the doors at the pilot gastation/truck stop. After getting what I needed from the gas station I could not resist the amazing sweet smell coming from Cinnabon so I ordered a classic. The employee working was incredibly friendly. She laughed at my stupid joke that I'm sure she hears all the time. She offered fasy and friendly service and a hot Cinnabon frest b ou r of the oven. The only possible down side is they were out of forks and only had spoons. But the cinnabon was hit and fresh the spoon did the trick. This location always seems to have smiling employees working.“

“The same as always, organized, clean... a bit of a queue at the cashiers but nothing that would interfere with your purchases... but the employees, again, are always grumpy and the type who don't care about the customers... a score of 3 for their education!!“

“I have been a consumer of this place for a long time but today I went in search of some salchichón soups and although they were not available at the moment the owner took his time to make the soups for me since it was a pregnant craving that I had. Extremely grateful to him. May God multiply it in blessings.??“

The place is a little tight but cozy.
Plenty of parking outside.
Even though the sequence of ordering goes opposite to the seating it's worth every minute.
White rice with beans and cakes with grape colony.
Rice with pigeon peas and blue cord and potato salad with delicious coconut.
Food was amazing.
Price is affordable.“

“The proper pie makes amazing pies! One of my favorites is the barbecue pork, which is excellent, but I also like their buffalo chicken and of course, the traditional English meat pies. They have freshly made scones which are really good. Get them frozen to go for those nights when it’s too hot to cook, or you are too tired to cook!“
