Any shortbread connoisseur will leave happy after purchasing a pound of shortbread to enjoy with their afternoon tea. You can tell it's the proprietor's grandma's recipe because you can taste that love (butter). I live in Wesley Chapel, and have made the trip to Dade City a couple times, just to walk around town and pick up some shortbread, but they sell online also.
My friend and I stopped in after our lunch at the Tea Room in Dade City. This amazing shortbread bakery is a gem, owner Mary Katherine Mason made us feel so welcomed and explained all her flavors to us. We even had a sample before I chose the Strawberry dark chocolate Lanky Lassie Shortbread cookies. The 1 lb bag was filled, fresh and so tasty. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What??!? How have I not left this review yet??? This place is an absolute gem. Everyone here is good vibes and the shortbread is OUT OF THIS WORLD. This is my go-to when I need a pick-me-up or a cute quick gift. I swear by the Snickerdoodle and my wife’s go-to is chocolate chip. Mary Katherine is an absolute blessing to our community - THANK YOU FOR BEING!
