“The food was authentic Italian and delicious and not pricey. I had ordered a cappuccino and returned it because it was lukewarm. The restaurant owner brought me a new cup, much hotter and an explanation that his barista had made the first cup according to Italian tradition (a lot cooler than Americans would prefer) and his apology. One of the members of my party had the opportunity to use her knowledge of Italian and speak to the owner. In all it was a delightful evening. I highly recommend this dining experience.“

“My family loves Al’s pizza and we’re so happy to be just a few minutes away. Tonight was no exception to how much I appreciate Al’s and their staff. Especially Abby. She went above and beyond tonight and I am grateful for her kindness and stellar customer service. I stopped in to pick up an order I placed and it wasn’t ready yet…..I was battling a migraine and was really hoping to be able to pick it up and go. But Fridays are busy and so I was waiting. It truly felt like the unending day. Abby checked in on me and got me a coke and sat me at the bar. She kept checking in as I waited. It’s the little things that make a difference. Their pizza is great and I love their cheese bread. One afternoon I plan to go sit and try their spinach artichoke dip, I hear it’s phenomenal. This is a great little place!“

“We ordered a large catering tray of Cuban sandwiches and a medium vegetable salad for pickup. The order went smoothly, was ready on time, food was good, and there was plenty to go around. I grew up near Ybor City, and the Cubans here were just as good as I would expect back home. I’ll definitely use them again!“

“Visited here last Saturday for our usual perfect Pizza (always done just the way we like it) and thought we would try one of their "Mini Bolis". It's supposed to be for one, but it was large enough for 2 and it came with a side of their fantastic sauce for dipping. For $10.50 you get 3 toppings (your choice) and the sauce. Now days we think that's a great value for such a great tasting item. It's a small place with great food and people. If you haven't been there yet, give them a try. You will love the flavors.“

The rib- eye steak that I got this time, April 21st, 2024 at approximately 7:30 pm, was quite literally the best steak I have ever eaten. Kudos to the cook (or is it Chef)?
